Chapter 31

The 14th was today and let's just say everyone was kinda nervous . I could sense it from miles away mostly from Enzo and Sandro .

I had arrived at the warehouse with Lorenzo earlier today and I sat in the conference room and watched as he explained to all his men what was gonna happen later on.

"Anya." My head turns revealing Sandro leaning against the doorway, he signals for me to step out the room , and I stand up from the chair I sat on sneakily going out of the room .

"What's up?"

"All I wanna say is , I'm proud of you pumpkin you've come along way from when you were fragile and now doing this ."

I smile giving him a side hug , I felt kinda good about myself after hearing this . It was more of a boost for me mentally and physically preparing myself .

Sandro and I'd relationship had gotten better over the past couple months comparing to how we were when I first met him. He was a douche like Enzo .

Both him and Lorenzo treated me as if I was invisible and locked me up in a room the majority well I locked myself up because I didn't feel welcome or comfortable.

"Thanks I appreciate it."

I decide to go into Lorenzo's office and wait till his meetings over since it felt like I was hearing the same things over and over . 

The door opens and Lorenzo walks in dressed differently. Normally I was used to him dressing formal but now he looked like an assassin. It was so hot  

"Hi." I whisper

"Tesoro, come."

Pushing myself off the seat I was sat on. I approach him , "there's been a change of plans." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and he sighs.

"I cant give you the tracker because you can't wear the necklace."

" why ?"

"It's too obvious, amore there's something else we can do but it's gonna hurt."

I fold my arms asking him what it was, he then goes on and tells me that he could implant s tracker into my forearm but it would take 24 hours to activate.

"do it Enzo ."

"Anya that's s whole day! It'll be longer for me to find you I'm not risking-"

"It's okay." My palms move to his face allowing him to look down at me "I'll do it."

"No , fuck this plan , what if he fly's you to Russia-"

"Lorenzo we can't go back now we've come too far , I'll do it , and it being a day makes it more realistic, I'll be okay." 

His jaw ticks , and I let go of his face not breaking eye contact, "I get it we've never been separated since we got together." 
Giving me a soft kiss , he leads me towards the infirmary where they were going to put the tracker inside me. .

I thought of it as a birth control implant instead so I could kinda mask the pain away .
"For this to be removed it requires a tiny surgery not to grand as its only being placed beneath the first layer." The doctor explains and I nod my head

I watch as he applies numbing cream on the area only so I didn't feel anything , he cuts my skin horizontally before aligning the injection gun . He clicks the lever and I feel something go inside my arm but not any pain.

"How do you feel?"

"I can't feel it , it's okay." 

I let go of Enzo's hand and I give him a smile , he thanks the doctor and grabs my arm pulling me out of the infirmary. The weapons room was where he took me . I'd never actually been inside because it was heavily guarded, but because I was with the boss I was able to enter .

Never in my life had I seen so much guns or knives until today , I'm pretty sure everyone tow of gun which expiated was in here right now , they were all organized and hung of racks against the walls .

The room was large , I watch as Enzo walks over towards the knives section. "venire."

Making my way towards him he picks up a 6mm pocket knife handing this to me , I look at him in confusion . "Put this around your ankle and put the knife inside it , the fabric will block the metal they won't be able to detect it ."

"Enzo is this necessary?"

"Protecting my wife ? I don't see anything wrong with that." He snaps , accidentally I drop the knife he'd just given me and step back . "Shit I'm sorry-"

I crouch down placing my hand over my stomach using my other hand to pick it up .
"Anya."

"I'll take the knife okay-"

A violent sound had filled my ears as I felt the ground shake beneath me . Glass shattering and rapids gunshots also reached my ears .
Lorenzo was quick to grab my arm about to drag us out of the room since we were in the cellars . But i was quick to shake my head .

"Wait wait-"

"There's no waiting Tesoro."

I feel tears surface to my eyes , I bite my bottom lip throwing my arms around him , his he heavenly scent fills my nostrils and a part of me begins to calm down.

"be strong for me Anya."

"Well we'll we'll ."

A familiar Russian accent is all I hear and Enzo's eyes immediately darken , I stand now beside him as Maliki comes into view .

"Your gonna regret this I promise you ." Enzo grits, I feel a shiver down my spine , the moment I feel his eyes on me . "Such a shame you were involved in this." More men walk into the room and I knew they weren't Enzo's because of the uniform they had on .

Eight Aks were pointed at Enzo and I , I knew we were outnumbered. "It's okay baby , go." I hear him whisper , tightly i grip on his bicep reluctantly . "ti troverò Anya, per favore vai."
I'll find you Anya just please go

"I love you ."

Slowly releasing his bicep two big bulky Russian men come towards my direction and k give him one last look mouthing back those three words .

The ginger guy tightly grips on my arm , and I quietly whimper as I'm being dragged over to Maliki . I hated the smirk he had on his face , I knew he was enjoying this .

"Hello luybov."
