A week went by with not much happening, Lilith seemed to be rather busy as I'd only see glimpses of her once in a while. Dione had left me alone more often, I suppose she thought I was doing a good job when cleaning to the point I needed no supervision.

Some important people were supposed to come during the weekend, but I'm not sure who because I had barely listened to what Dione was saying when she told me. Only the best workers would accompany the important people so naturally, I needed to stay in my room, I think that was for the best.

"Remember to stay in your room, and do not come out until I tell you to alright?" I nodded. She closed the door and left.

After two or so hours of doing absolutely nothing, I decided I had enough. I would somehow sneak into the library and find a book to read. If I were caught I'd have deep problems. I am sure most of them were somewhere else, if I remember correctly they would be in the meeting room.

I opened the door and looked around the hallway, no one was there so I hurried over to the direction of the library. I heard chatter from the meeting room so I took a stop there and peeked through the slightly open door. Lilith was there with a group of other people I had never seen before, but by the way they were dressed, I was sure they were important. A couple of maids served them tea and cakes.

Before I knew it I was pushed into the room by someone and I ended up falling on my knees. I looked behind me but saw no one there. Then I looked in front of me, all eyes were on me. I looked at Lilith who held an unreadable expression. "Oh? Will you look at that" One of the men spoke. He walked up to me and smirked as he leaned down. "Wow, that is a rare one." Another one spoke.

The man went to touch me, but I backed away and snarled at him. "Don't touch me!" He began laughing and looked at Lilith. "Were you trying to hide this one from us?" A woman spoke as she too laughed.

"No, she has not learned to behave yet, I wouldn't want to trouble you." She gave a tight smile. The other vampires laughed.

"Dione, take her to her room." Dione bowed and said, "Of course, your highness." The head maid forced me on my legs and walked me back to my room.

"You stupid girl, why did you leave your room?!" She almost threw me onto the bed, I had never seen Dione so angry before. What I didn't understand was why it was so bad that I was seen by those people. "Calm down, I was going to the library and I walked past the meeting room and someone pushed me into the room!" I replied.

The woman sighed. "You are my responsibility, I will receive punishment because of your doings. Why can you not follow simple rules?" After getting scolded by her she left, I did feel bad for what I had done, but someone pushed me inside, someone wanted me to get in trouble.

Later that night I was asked to come to the queen's bedroom. I was nervous about receiving punishment, I am not sure how she punished people, but Dione seemed rather distressed talking about how she would be punished for what I had done.

I knocked on the door as I was told to do and waited until the door opened. Dione walked out, her head hung low. It seemed like she had been crying. She didn't speak a word to me as she walked past. I entered the room after her and saw Lilith laying in her bed with nothing but a robe covering her skin. I stood there silent, afraid of what to say next.

"When will you learn?" She asked, breaking the silence of the room. Her voice was stern, not anything I had heard before. Her voice used to be smooth and sultry, but she was clearly not in a good mood. "It seems you cannot be disciplined with words alone."

"I just wanted a book to read, someone pushed me into the room."

"You were specifically told NOT to step out of your room. Eleanor, I have warned you before." She stepped out of the bed and approached me. She forced me onto the bed and pinned me down. That was certainly not a side I had ever seen before. She was not her usual calm self.
