Zan floated peacefully in the water. At least, that's what others saw. In reality, she was transmitting all of the information needed to save the earth. The others on her planet had given up on humanity, but she hadn't. She couldn't. Zan was risking everything to save a place she had never even visited.
Completing the transmission, Zan said goodbye. The risk of continuing to communicate with Dash was too great. She was already suspected of continued communication with humans.
But despite her worries, Zan was proud. All of the odds stacked against her hadn't stopped her from saving earth.
