I fall off the bed.
I hold my head and groan. I rub my eyes, glancing around the dim room, trying to see where I am. I recognize it as my room, but I'm in so much of a haze I can't seem to think straight. I struggle to find my lamp, but once I do, I turn the switch and the whole room lights up. I hiss and turn away from the light. It takes a while for my eyes to adjust.
