3:50 a.m.I thought I would at least be alone for the morning. I thought I would at least have some time to myself. Any time I spend in the gym on a normal day, I am always interrupted and usually I wouldn't even mind, but today, the morning after the gala, the few hours after Asher and I talked, all I needed was time away to not have to think about the three words he said to me.
"It meant everything."
I swing at the punching bag.
Those words only left me more and more restless, because he didn't even get a chance to explain what it was that he meant. The crowd ushered Asher away from me, away from his answer, away from all the fears that soon possessed me as soon as they had left his mouth.
