I guess this isn't a bad copy of Twilight

A/N: I've been trying to think of the ending of my story, because it hadn't really occurred to me that all stories need an ending and at some point this story will end. And the only ending I've come up with is not good in a sense of closure. I'm not going to spoil the idea obviously. But I'd like for people to be mentally prepared whenever the end of my story does come close.

I fixed myself from whatever just happened with Xavier, before making my way back into the quad looking for Ajax, who fortunately was just finished with his conversation with Enid.

Ajax turned and looked at me, a smile plastered on his face. His smile was beautiful, it made me question what I did to deserve to have that smile directed towards me.

"So, should we sneak into the kitchen and get food now?" I ask him

"Obviously. I'm starving" He laughed

As we began heading to the kitchen, it made me realize I actually haven't eaten in a long time. Can Vampires even eat normal food? I guess there is only one way to find out I suppose.

"How are we even supposed to break in?" Ajax looked at the door infront of us

"I've got it" I state as I go up to the door and twist the handle opening it. "Magic" I chuckle

"Y'know, the entire time I've been here I never realize you can just walk right in" he states

"Honestly, I didn't know that either, but I went with my gut"

"You would've looked stupid if it didn't open" he laughed

"Oh shut up" I roll my eyes, a smile playing at my lips "What should we grab to eat?"

"They have lasagna?" Ajax says, opening a fridge.

Lasagna? That usually has garlic seasonings, and I don't 100% know if I can eat garlic yet. So that's a no

"Hmm, is there anything else?" I ask him as I flip through the cabinets

"Ice cream, frozen pizza, blood smoothies for the vampires, yogurt, fruit..." Ajax continued to list off food.

Blood smoothies though? I need that, and I need to get it when he's not looking.

I feel bad for not telling Ajax about my abilities, or anyone for that matter. But I'm not even sure who I am or what I can do anyways. And I'd like to figure that out before I say anything to anyone.

"What do you have a taste for?" I ask him finally closing the cabinets not finding anything appetizing.

"Yogurt and fruit sounds good" he suggests

"Then you can have that" I smile as he grabs the containers of fruit which held various fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. I then grabbed the yogurt and set it on the counter while I went on a hunt for a bowl for him.

After some searching I finally found one. I set it on the counter and watched as he inspected it before staring at me.

"Are you not having any?"

"No, I'm alright" I smile at him and gesture for him to make his food.

He looked at me wearily before he began making his bowl of yogurt.

"I never really see you eat" Ajax points out, placing the lid back on the yogurt, and pushing it to the side as he began opening the fruit containers.

"You're quite the observant one" I chuckle

"Does it have something to do with your ability or what you are?" he asks, dancing around the question of what I am.

"I suppose so" I say as I lean on the counter and look at Ajax's hands. Why hadn't I noticed he has nice hands too?
