Chapter 7- The USJ Part 2/Well...Crap

Purple smoke from one of the villains had teleported most of my classmates and myself throughout the complex a few minutes ago. The landing I had was rough, bouncing my head against the solid ground and a crunch sound coming from somewhere. Darkness was all I could see for a while. About twenty minutes passed and I could properly use my eyes, noticing I was on my own in some sort of building. Panic pulsed through my veins, 'Why did I have to jump off of Kirishima?' I let out a small whine at my mistake when an animal type villain came around the corner. He looked like a chameleon or a lizard and seemed to have been in a fight before he found me, he was covered in blood and newly formed bruises. I let out a small grumble when I faintly heard Mineta yelling pervy things about me and my sister from wherever he was.

It was like an idea suddenly came to him as a strange look was suddenly in his eyes. I was confused as to what his plan was until I tried to step back into the shadows behind me. There was an unbearable pain in my front right leg. My panic increased, 'The crunch from my landing! I must've broken my leg.' The chameleon's grin grew as there were explosive sounds below us, hints of caramel came though the building. My eyes widened, 'That's Bakugo! If I can get his attention then he could help.'

He must've noticed the relief in my eyes, I could smell the disappointment and annoyance coming off of him. He grabbed me by my neck with his tail, tight but not enough to block my airway, and took us out the building's window. I glanced up as far as I could and saw that we were near the top before he jumped. In my panic I let out a warning bark, something I knew my classmates could hear no matter where they were in the USJ, before he made us invisible and took off to the fountain once we landed.

The chameleon made sure we stayed out of the way near the tree line as he made me watch. Mr. Aizawa looked like he was doing ok until a guy covered in hands grabbed his elbow. In seconds the area was disintegrating, 'Well, I guess that was the hand guy's quirk. How is Mr. Aizawa going to stop the villains with one arm?' It was getting hard to breathe, the tail around my neck getting tighter. Glancing around to look for help I see Midoriya, Tsu, and Mineta standing at the edge of the Shipwreck Zone.

My tail swayed as I got jostled around for a moment. My vision was getting spotty as my ability to breathe was slowly being taken away. I closed them tight before getting an idea, 'If I could make us visible again maybe I could get my classmates' attention.' Blurrily spotting the ground below, I used the air molecules around us to stir the sand. I could see Midoriya's eyes flick to the movement around us, unseeing but taking note that someone was there.

As the last bit of air in my body left, the tail loosened up, allowing me to breathe again but breaking my concentration. The sand around us settled and I could see why the grip around my neck was loosened. The hand guy was going for Tsu and Mr. Aizawa was being pinned down by some weird creature.

The Hand Guy was able to grab her face but I couldn't see any sign of disintegration on her. The guy let out a growl in annoyance and turned to my teacher. 'His eyes are open! Ha, take that you stupid villain!' I may have celebrated too early cause the moment I did, the tail tightened once more. All the air that was in my body had no place to go, 'This is starting to hurt. I should focus on my own situation.'

My focus left the main battle and returned to my own struggle. It was impossible to break free, no matter how hard I tried. For some reason he ended up grabbing my scruff with his hand, jerking me out of his tail and allowing me to breathe freely. "If you make any noise, movement, or use your quirk again then you'll die here." My ears flicked back as a way to tell him I'll obey. 'I can't move with you holding my scruff like this anyway. Stupid adolescent fox nature! I should've become something bigger.'
