Bunshi: The Molecule Hero

Chapter 1

A.N. Ok so, my sister read the first half out loud to me and my gosh it's cringy. I promise after chapter 3 or 4 it gets better, or it should at least. This was written somewhere in 2020 so my writing style was a tad different back then.

A.N p2~ Hello my potatoes, while I was reading though this story from the beginning (so I could get back into writing it) some things jumped out at me and I HAD to fix them. This chapter and probably a few others will probably get edited. Nothing has really changed, mainly the mother-daughter dynamic I had going on and phrasing. I hope its better than it was :')

Chapter 1- The Entrance Exam

Koko's POV~~

It was a normal morning in the Yaoyorozu mansion. The maids were softly walking about the hallway as I was woken up by my sister's alarm clock from the floor above. Due to my permanent wolf features, my ears and tail, I have heightened sense of hearing and smell. 

My name is Koko Yaoyorozu and my quirk is molecule manipulation. It allows me to make them do what I please, hence the ears and tail. I normally gained their characteristics too. Since I was part wolf most of the time, I used body language and sounds a lot. However for the time being I could only have one animal at a time. I'm getting better with it though. I can keep my ears whenever I have a different animal now.

My twin sister also has a type of molecule quirk. She can create things as long as she understands their molecular makeup. Her name is Momo, she's the family favorite. I have the same black hair and grey eyes as her but I've to like some violet in my bangs. Luckily, I don't have to buy the dye. I wouldn't have the money to do so anyway.

'I'm going to get in trouble if I don't get up now.' You see, as the youngest and smaller twin, I was always ignored or lectured. My parents didn't want two kids but they've never physically harmed me. I think it's due to Momo though. I've caught her glaring at them for raising their voices at me or lecturing me over what seems like nonsense.

I slowly got out of my twin-sized bed as Momo asked if I was awake from her room. I stretched and created a hole in the ceiling to answer her, "Yeah, I'm awake sis. Are you going to get ready for school yet or no?"

She giggled and stuck her head through the hole, "I'm about to shower now. Don't forget that today is the UA physical exam for the referred students."

I made myself float up to her and poked her head, "Yes, yes. So go shower while I get our lunches ready. You know the maids don't like making mine."

She made a face at that and shook her head, "I don't understand why they refuse to when they make everyone else's." I grinned at her but shook my head, "It doesn't matter, at least I love cooking. Besides, I have to do something while I wait."

I closed up the hole and went to take my shower. I grabbed my underwear and a light blue tracksuit then went to the bathroom across the hall. Since my room was the only one without a built-in bathroom.

Mini time skip~~

After I was finished, I cleaned up my mess and listened for any sounds. Hearing the water and soft humming from my sister let me know she was still bathing. I listened for a bit longer until I was satisfied knowing who was awake.

I went back to my room to get the moisture out of my waist-length, black hair and fur to make it dry faster. Once I entered my room, I immediately focused on getting the water molecules out of my hair and into the plants beside my window. I debated for a bit about how I wanted my hair for the day before deciding on braided pigtails.

My grey eyes went around my medium-sized room. My room is about half the size of Momo's but it's big enough for me. I had space for a few queen-sized beds and some room to spare. Since my room was smaller, I got a twin bed, a nice looking desk with a soft chair, a medium dresser for the clothes that couldn't go in my closet, and a semicircle bay window that had a bench.
