A.N. Ok so I may have changed the plot just a tad in the MHA universe, but its not big enough to change the outcome of things. I'm gonna be evil and leave you potatoes on a cliffhanger for a bit, so have fun with that.

Chapter 10- The Festival Begins

Today was the big day, the first day of the Sports Festival. This morning when we made it to class Aizawa had us get our protective gear- like the bottom layer of my costume, our shoes, certain braces- and make our way to the stadium. Waiting for us there was a type of prep area for the class with two dressing rooms labeled "Girls" and "Boys" inside. I smiled at the thoughtfulness, 'We have a private area to get dressed and an area to relax? That's kind of them.'

At the moment we were in the dressing room getting ready. We each had a locker for our things and spare gym uniforms inside. It was strange not putting all of my hero costume on, but the excitement I had for what was to come was over powering everything else. So much that the other girls would pet the top of my head every so often, attempting to calm me down even just slightly. Once we had all collectively gotten changed we made our way to the little rest area. The boys were scattered around the room waiting, most calmly eating from the snacks given to us.

I smiled at them, knowing the ones who weren't eating were either too nervous or excited. Noticing Kirishima gently lecturing Bakugo about needing "At least something in your stomach", I went to get something from the bowl at the first table. Shaking my head at the stubbornness, I picked up an apple for myself and an orange for the brooding Pomeranian in the corner and made my way over to them. I easily gained their attention by thumping the top of the blonde's head with the base of my hand, "He's right Bakugo, you know you need energy." He growled at my touch like it was poison before leaning away. I gave him and Kirishima a confused look before giving the redhead the orange.

"The best heros need to eat too," I say loud enough for those who weren't eating, hoping it can convince them they need food. Taking a bite of my apple, I went to sit next to my sister and heard a soft "thank you.." from behind me. I gave them a small smile, not knowing which one of them said it, and claimed my seat. When I noticed Momo had an apple in hand I couldn't hold back a laugh. Once she realized why I was laughing she joined me, leaning over to put her head on my shoulder.

The rest of the class was confused, murmuring about it being a weird twin thing before we settled down. It looked like I had managed to calm everyone's nerves. Everyone who wasn't eating had grabbed something from the snack pile, even Bakugo now had the orange in hand.

Mr. Aizawa said we had about half an hour to calm ourselves and get ready for the opening ceremony. I was debating on what I was going to do about my ears for a while. 'Eventually, I'd have to hear during the festival. Would it be better if I didn't have ears until the festival began?' Lost in thought and slowly finishing my apple, I felt a poke to my cheek. Blinking out of my trance with a blush on my face, Mina had thought of a solution to my inner thoughts. "Why don't you leave your ears out for a while? You can always put them away if the sound gets too loud."

I gave her a bright smile before I bounced up to hug her. "Oh Mina you're a genius, why didn't I think of that?" She gave me pats on the back with her hug, a soothing gesture I didn't expect but welcomed all the same. "I know, I'm amazing." The ones who heard her snickered, Kaminari muttering out a "sure she is" laced with playful sarcasm. The pink girl in my arms gasped at the words and glared at him. I smirked at him and let the girl go, seeing all the color in his face suddenly vanish.

It was fun watching Mina playfully chase Kaminari around the room. After around five laps Mr. Aizawa came to retrieve us, barely missing hitting Kaminari in the face when he entered. Suddenly, everyone's previous emotions had returned to them, the scent of which nearly took me out. I grumbled at them and walked out of the room first, only to be passed by an agitated-looking Bakugo.
