A day has passed ever since the conference meeting.

At first, Rimuru's ball was only a rumor now it seems like it isn't a rumor anymore. Tempest has now officially announced the time of the ball! Although many people have heard of this ball, some are still surprised. Many kingdoms and nobles would attend, even the common folk were allowed to attend. The news spread far and wide and it caught the attention of almost every single being on the planet. Many people were even starting to go to Tempest!

On the other hand, Rimuru seemed to have rested a bit after being so tired the day prior and is very much still busy organizing the preparations for the ball. Right now he is over seeing the laying of the foundation for the ballroom. The ballroom is about 85 meters (278 feet) wide and about 20 meters (65 feet) tall. Rimuru thought that this was a bit overkill bit he was quickly reassured that the size was big enough since there was over 10,000 people coming, humans and monsters alike. So now here he is, helping the laying of the foundation.

"Right there!" Rimuru said as the high orcs laid the final piece of foundation.

"Fufufu well done master! You are very creative, nothing less than perfect!" Diablo said praising his master and the high orcs agreed.

"Thank you Diablo but this was all thanks to the high orcs' good job." Rimuru said praising the high orcs.

"We do not deserve such praise master, thank you!" Gerudo replied bowing slightly.

"Alright, I can leave the rest to you guys. I need to go check on the masks." Rimuru said as he and diablo walked away to bester's and kaijin's area.

"Yo guys how are the masks coming up?" Rimuru asked as he and diablo entered the cave.

"Rimuru-sama! Welcome! We are almost done with the prototype, here have a look." Bester said as he and Kaijin moved to the side to show their master the mask.

"It's a special mask that will stick to your face without being held up by a stick or string. It isn't uncomfortable and it can change to the user's liking. We're still working on some minor details though." Kaijin explained as rimuru picked up and admired the mask.

The craftsman ship was absolutely beautiful! Rimuru couldn't wait to see the finish product.

"Well done! Just call me when the product is ready alright? And please do not overwork yourselves." Rimuru said as he parted with the duo.

He was about to return to his house but stopped to admire the view from the mountain. His country was beautiful, everything was just perfect though there is one problem.

"Are you alright master?" Diablo asked. Rimuru forgot he was there for a second.

"I'm alright, I'm just thinking of something.." Rimuru responded sounding a bit sad.

"May I ask what is bothering you master? I will gladly eliminate the threat." Diablo said as he summoned his weapon.

"Ah! There will be no need for that!" Rimuru said as he tries to calm Diablo down. Rimuru sighed and sat down on the hill. It was sunset so the view only got better. He patted a spot beside him, signaling for Diablo to sit down beside him and diablo did sit.

"What else could be troubling you master?" Diablo asked, wondering what could make his master sad.

"It's nothing that can be fixed really. I just miss my family. My brother, my father and my mother." Rimuru said as he started remembering his family.

"I see...what were they like, rimuru-sama?" Diablo asked.

"Well...my father was a strong man and a very strict parent growing up. He never acknowledged me but he did love me, atleast that's what I think. He favored my brother more. My mother was a gentle woman who loved both me and my brother equally. She was always there to listen to me talk about my day. My older brother...I have always looked up to him. He was the golden child in the family but I had no problem with that. I still love him...I just miss them all so much. I wish I could see them again even for one last time so I can properly say goodbye and tell them how much I love them..." Rimura explained with teary eyes. Diablo merely nodded and gave rimuru a small hug to try and comfort him. Both of them were enjoying the moment until ciel had to ruin the moment.

Rimuru was quickly startled by Ciel's voice and let go of Diablo.

"A little warning next time please! You scared me!" Rimuru replied to ciel. Diablo seemed to have pieced together that rimuru and ciel were talking.

"Wait- what do you mean I can see them again?!" Rimuru shrieked in surprise. He can see his family again?! How?!

The moment ciel said that rimuru's brain seemed to have short circuit. He could have done that all along?!

"Why didn't you say anything ciel?!" Rimuru shrieked once again.

Diablo only looked at rimuru with a 'what is happening' look. Rimuru quickly explained what he just found out.

"Fufufu! My my master you are very powerful!" Diablo praised clapping his hands at the information. On the other hand rimuru was ecstatic! He could finally see his family again!

"Come on Diablo, we need to get home." Rimuru said as he dragged Diablo home.

When they reach the house, they ran in to veldora(?) And he seemed to be carrying some manga (?)

"R-rimuru! What are you doing here?" Veldora said as he tried to hide the manga he stole.

"I live here- whatever, can you make sure no one enters the house? I just need it to be guarded. No one, not even the butlers can enter, got it?" Rimuru said as Veldora nodded, happy that rimuru didn't get mad that he tok his manga.

Rimuru then started to clear out the living room to make room for whan he's about to do.

"What are you even doing?" Veldora asked as he stared at the now cleared living room.

"Fufufu master has found a way to talk to his family." Diablo explained as rimuru nodded. Veldora was a little confused.

"How are you planning to do that? Even transferring a soul from another world is hard." Veldora asked as he leaned on a table near the door.

"Ciel found our how to make a connection. Apparently, after I evolved my skills also evolved so now I can create and destroy universes at will. Diablo move that for me please." Rimuru explained as Diablo moved the last remaining table away. Safe to say, Veldora was stunned. He had no idea that was even possible! But yet again, this is rimuru he is talking too, that slime can do whatever he puts his mind to.

"Alright, everyone please step back." Rimuru said as both men stepped a few steps back.

A/N: Idk Rimuru's biological family's name so I made them up.
