THE HUNGOVER CONFESSION

Epilogue part I

Lights were flashing in the amazingly decorated grand hall as everybody gathered there awaited for the verdict to come with their gazes fixed at the stage. The biggest announcement of the evening was about to be made any moment making people restless and the concerned persons to hold their breaths nervously in anticipation.

 The media was all set to capture the moment and to flash it on their channels for raising their TRP's claiming to be the first one to have break the news.It was the most awaited moment of the star struded night at the ITA- Indian Television Award!Two of the industry's highly acclaimed funny bones artists were the hosts for the night –After a round of humor they invited two reknowned and respected figures of Bollywood for honoring the winner.

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome 2 of the most talented and successful personalities from the film industry, one of them having immersed from the T.V industry to make a mark in the cinematic universe.

May I please request Mr.Karan Johar and Mr. Imtiaz Ali to please announce the result and do the honor of presening the biggest award for the night 'The favorite actor in a leading role male!" 

The delay of announcement was increasing the nervousness and excitement of the people present there with every passing second when finally the biggest verdict of the big night came out. Imtiaz Ali opened the envelope and Karan Johar read the verdict.

"And the winner for the most favorite actor in a lead role male is...Oh he's my fav. The talented expressionist heartthrob, the certified sexiest man on T.V...yes..you guessed it right people..It's none other than Randhir Singh Shekhawat!"

Sanyukta clapped in joy hearing Randhir's name & appreciation from her favorite bollywood personality- Karan Johar! Happy tears made their way to her eyes as she saw Randhir sharing the stage with Karan Johar and Imtiaz Ali ,to receive the best actor award!

 The entire auditorium echoed with thunderous applaud as Randhir got to the stage and held the mic to say a few words. He looked at Sanyukta sitting in the front row,beeming at him with happiness .He smiled at her adorably, showing her the trophy ,he then took a deep breath and spoke.

"Good evening everyone as the ritual goes I'd first like to thank God and my parents for this achievement and thanks ITA for this(raised the trophy and looked at it lovingly).

I am honored to have received this from two great personalities of Bollywood whom I have dreamt to met. It's all like a dream come true. My wife Sanyukta there (gesturing at her) she always wanted me to receive my first award from Karan sir, and I wanted it to be Imtiaz sir(biting his tongue a lil to apologise to KJo who just smiled and said" your wife has a better taste than you!" earning giggles from the spectators,including Imtiaz.) We had a bet if her prediction of me receiving my award from Karan sir came true I'd have to do what I haven't done..and she won!"

KJo(looking at Sanyukta,teasing with naughy expression):"so future mama has won from future papa,haan! What is it that you want him to do?"

Randhir(blushing a bit):"yes! Since the day she came to know you (KJo) would be attending the ceremony, she was too adamant to come with me for the awards, though it's her full time and she's suppose to be resting at home! She She's too filmy you know,my drama queen!"

 Karan smiled dearly at her and blew a flying kiss in her direction that she snatched and kept in her heart.Randhir looked at her lovingly and smiled at her cute antics. Randhir went down to Sankyukta and brought her on the stage on her insistence.

Randhir(knelt down on one knee,took out a red rose from the inner pocket of his blazer):" Sanyukta I Randhir singh Shekhawat,wants to confess my love for you,in front of the whole world!"

(Thundrous applaud and collective syncronised 'Awwwss' filled the space in the hall.)

Randhir:"Sanyukta you are the best thing ever happened to me, thank you for coming in my life. Tere bina har din har pal adhoora lagta hai. Teri galti bhi meri life ki sabse badi blessing ban jati h.! Sirf tere hone se hi meri bechen bhaagti hui zindagi aram ki saans le k tham si jati h, bas tere hone se hi meri zindagi khil k sanwar k poori ho jati hai! I love you sanyukta! More than my life! Do u love me too ?"

The whole atmosphere went pin drop silent, with many people having tears in their eyes at the heart touching act of love confession.Sanyukta went all numb for a moment and tears of joy flow down her cheeks the very next moment.She nodded initially unable to speak and spoke after a moment,controlling her emotions.

Sanyukta:"yes! Yes..I love you too"

The silent atmosphere went all roaring with the thunderous applaud and the collective sighs of joy and 'awwss'...Randhir got up and took her in a side hug, kissing her forehead.

He guided her down in descending the stairs holding her hand protectively.He helped her get down the last stair and made her stand straight, he then went to Karan and Imtiaz to bid adieu and get talking to them and they said something he didn't believed at first and as it sank in he jumped in joy ,shake hands with them and took their leave to turn to Sanyukta to break the news to her,but as he took a step in her direction he saw her holding her head as if about to fall out of dizziness he ran to her and caught her immediately and cradled her up in his manly arms and took her to the car.

Once in the car, Sanyukta opened her eyes to look at a worried Randhir and caressed his face lovingly with all so dreamy eyes. Randhir smiled at her and then...The water broke!
