(Family Video from outside. Car drives by. FV from inside)
(Steve walks through the store, holding a few VHS cassettes, looking at a list of the titles he needs to put back. He seems to not find the sections they belong in.)
(The beginning of "fools" by Depeche Mode plays in the backround. It plays to the lyric "Don't tell me secrets anymore", then fastly fades out to get interrupted by the first sentence.)
STEVE
Yo Robin can you help me out for a sec-
(Robin and Keith are talking with eachother on the other side of the room)
ROBIN
Can't you see we're having a conversation over here?!
(Steve sighs.) (A girl appears behind him)
???
Let me see...
(She puts on some reading glasses and takes a look at the list)
STEVE
Wait who are y-
(She interrupts him) (The girls finger points at the titles)
???
So this one's Sci-Fi, this one's Horror aaand this is Sci-Fi again.
STEVE
Uhh thanks...
(he seems a little baffled)
KEITH (while walking in their direction)
Really? Now even the customers have to help you do your job?
(He takes the VHS' and list out of Steves hand)
???
Oh no noo it's okay, i volunteered.
KEITH
You know a lot about movies huh? I see you here quite often, what's your name?
???
it's... Tw... yla
(she said that very slow and cautiously)
(Robin joins them)
ROBIN
Well, that's kind of a weird name
TWYLA
Thanks?
KEITH
Maybe i should've employed you. You know our homeboy Steve over here thinks there's teddy bears in Star Wars
STEVE
Heyy! (slightly offended, embarrassed)
(Robin chuckles) (Twyla smiles)
TWYLA
I mean he has a point, Chewbacca does look a lot like a supersized Teddy, not to even mention the ewoks
STEVE
See? She gets me!!!
(He takes her hand and yanks it up into the air) You just won best customer of the year! Congrats
(Twyla quickly pulls her hand back down. She's blushing)
STEVE
What was your name again?
(The scene ends with an instant strong cut to a black screen. "Fools" continues playing where it left off. The credits for the episode start playing.)
