It's early out day today and I literally just got back to my dorm when the holy item rang.

And I panicked.

I dropped my bag to the floor and straightened out myself as if he'll see me.

"H-Hello?"

Pumiyok ka talaga Aice?

I shook my head as I try to calm myself down, doing a silent inhale-exhale. My heart wants to get out of my ribcage with how fast it is beating right now.

[You answered.] He sounded relief.

My hand immediately went to cover my mouth to stop myself from squealing.

His voice his voice his voice!

[Hi.]

"I --" My voice broke so I had to clear my throat. "Y-Yeah, I, um, the caller ID said Main Phone. I thought it was you.." And it was you. GAAH!

[That's good.] He cleared his throat. [Busy ka ba?]

For you? Never! "Right now? No."

[At the firm, I bumped to you--]

"No, it was me who --"

[Ako, kasi alam kong --]

"Pero ako 'yung --"

[I was the one --]

"Kulit mo. Ako nga kasi --"

[Kulit? Hindi. Ako --]

"Hindi ka nga kasi nga ako --"

[That wasn't what I meant --]

"Fine! Edi tayo na lang. Tayo na --"

[Tayo na?]

I ended up biting my lip as my words dawn on me. "I-I mean, tayo nang dalawa ang may kasalanan. Matapos lang 'tong sisihan game." I looked up and silently prayed that he won't find me weird or corney.

[That's fine with me.]

Same here. I'm fine with you. Totally, absolutely and completely fine with you -- shush you, you thirsty girl!

"Hookay.. Uh.." I tried to remember what he was saying earlier, but my mind is all mumbo-jumbo.

[You work at that firm, correct?]

"Yes.."

[Do you work tomorrow?]

I shook my head even though, again, he can't see me. "Saturday bukas, wala kaming pasok tuwing weekends."

[Perfect. Come out of your dorm then.]

"Excuse me?"

[I'm outside.]

"WHAT!"

[Let's get your phone.]

"Now?!" My voice went so high, I think it hit G5!

[Yes. C'mon.] He hung up.

"The hell!?"

My skirt was restricting my legs but I managed to semi-run to get my go-to body-bag, transferred my wallet to it, and kinda tossed the work-bag to the side.

I wore my black flats instead of the work shoes and ran down the stairs. I was basically out of breath by the time I got outside. My little body-bag is out of place and my hair -- shit! I didn't even brush my hair!
