Chapter 8:

~~~Aaron~~~~~~~~~~~
    Lani's hands shake unsteadily as the moment of realization comes over her. I look over to Andre,he's still breathing,barely, she shot him close to what looks like his heart. "Baby",I walk over to her slowly. I peel the gun from her hands and hug her tightly as possible without hurting her. I wrap my arms around her and she pulls me in. She's still staring at the spot where he was.
       "Did I just kill someone?",she asks, looking up at me teary eyed. I just hug her tighter and hold her. We stand up to turn around when I kick his almost lifeless body. We walk down to the truck and get in.
                                 ***Back at the girls place***
             "Is she okay?",Lahna asks, opening the bag of Red Lobster on her lap. "I don't think so. She hasn't said anything since we got back.",I say, placing Lani and I's food on the kitchen island. "Is that Red Lobster ?",I hear Lani. I turn to see her with her comforter draped over her. Her face looks puffy like she's been crying. 
    I nod with a slight smile. She grabs the food and returns to her room. I follow her and sit down on the bed next to her. She opens her plastic container and eats a piece of shrimp.
       "Aaron, I killed somebody",She says looking  straight ahead at the wall with tears in her eyes. "Baby",I grab her chin softly. The tears roll down her face. "You did what you had to do. It's not like he was an Angel", I say wiping away her tears.
    "I'm a killer baby",she looks up at me and breaks down in tears. "Lehlani...you are not a killer. Believe me",I chuckle. "You didn't do it on Purpose. You gave him the chance to put it down. He did it to himself okay. You saved me babe",I pull her towards me by the waist. "But Aar-" "No. No buts ok. You are too beautiful inside and out to think that this was your fault",I pull her onto my lap and place my hands on her waist.
            "You know I love you",she smiles. "I know who doesn't",I say playfully. "You get on my nerves",she gives me the side eye and hits me with a pillow.

                            *Three days later*
            I hear a knock on the door and stand up to get it. "Who is it?",I ask. "It's eli",I hear. I open the door, "What you want?",I ask. "So you out here not answerin the phone and fuckin around on me",he spews. "We not together",I roll my eyes. "Fuck you mean we not togetha? We togetha till I say we not",he says, slapping me. I'm shocked. He pushes me on the floor,causing me to knock over the vase on the table.
        "Do you understand me bitch?",Eli grabs my shirt. "Lele. What's going on?",Lani walks into the living room with a bat in hand and Aaron in front of her. "Fuck are you doin nigga?",Aaron asks. And they start fightin. "Come here",Lani helps me up and takes me to her room.
    "Lele what happened?!",Lani asks me but I can't respond. I'm in shock of what just went down. "Uhm. I don't know",I say as she hugs me. After Aaron kicks elis ass,cj comes over and it ain't pretty. "He ain't gon bother you again babe",cj holds me with a smile.
                   ~~~Valentines day~~~

             I wake up as the sunlight shines brightly. For it to be so sunny, it's always cold. "Alexa play my 'Into you' playlist",I ask Alexa. It's my second favorite holiday of the year today and i'm in a romantic mood. I have to make some errands. I need to go drop Aarons gifts off at his house. I already left Lele,Lahna,and Jaes gifts in their rooms. And they have little mini gifts to give to the guys in their bags.  Since we're all helping De with his surprise for Jae, I'm gonna be running around like crazy.
    I most likely won't be around a lot. Maybe today is what stopped me from having a nightmare last night. Ever since the Andre death thing i've been having really bad nightmares and wakin up in cold sweats. It happened when Aaron was over here once. Speaking of Aaron, he said he'd see me later tonight.
        I step into the warm shower, it's like a lil massage.I get out and put on my red filas, some black ripped jeans,and a red off the shoulder crop top with the words "B!TCH" on it. I pull on my jacket,grab my car keys and head out the door. I pull up to Aarons and his car is still there. I unlock the door and grab the gifts from the backseat of my jeep.
  I close the door and lock it behind me. "Oh hey baby",I hear Aaron. "Hey. I didn't know you were up yet",I set the bags down on the carpet. "What's all this for?".Aaron smiles with a confused look. "It's just for the second special holiday everrr",I smile.
             He gives a confused glare and then realizes. He forgot...it's cool. It's just one valentines day. "Oh right. Wait, all this for me?",he looks down a little shocked. "Yeah. I might have gone a little overboard. But that's what I usually do so. Why you so dressed up?",I ask noticing the suit he's in. He looks good. "Work thing",he shrugs it off. "Is that a tie I see?",I say as I spot a tie on his dresser.
    "Don't start",he gives me a look,knowing I'm bout to start clownin him. "I wasn't even gon say nun",I laugh. "Mhm.",he rolls his eyes. I walk over to him and help him with his tie. "You know you look really good",I smile slightly. "Nah out of the two of us you look the best",he places his hands on my waist.
