Daddy is calling

As soon as the clock had striked 12, Taehyung's phone started blaring in his hand. He had dozed off while talking to Jungkook and blinked his sleepy eyes at his phone, lazily accepting the call

"Hello?" Taehyung asnwered groggy, sighing into the phone and turning on his back,pressing the phone against his ear

"Did i wake you my love? I'm sorry" the voice on the other line was soft and honey like, the total oppsite of Taehyung's deep and sleep hazed voice

Taehyung's eyes narrowed at the voice, holding the phone infront of his face to look at the contact name before he brought the phone back up to his ear

"Jungkook?" Taehyung asked confused, rubbing at his eyes as he sat upright against the headboard, putting on the nightlight

"Yes?" Jungkook answered, slightly chuckling into the phone.

"I'm sorry i'm still have asleep" Taehyung apologized,feeling embarrassed that he had dozed off in the first place and even more embarrassed that he didn't even realize Jungkook had called him.

"It's alright my love" Jungkook softly spoke. He was alone in his apartment,but he knew it was midnight and that Taehyung was still in a sleep haze

"Happy four months kook"

Jungkook could hear the smile behind the older's words and smiled to himself,preparing to say the words back when he heard the older's door creak open and a sleepy voice speak

"Tae? Who are you speaking to so late ?"

"Sorry, go back to sleep hyung" Taehyung dismissed, words coming out softly but Jungkook could still faintly hear it.

"Don't stay up to late talking to that boyfriend of yours"

" i won't.....promise anything"

Jungkook chuckled amused at Taehyung's antics,glad to hear that he was the same over text as he was in person. Taehyung still sounded like he was half asleep though.

"Sorry, accidently woke up my roommate" Taehyung let out another soft sigh and Jungkook could hear him fidling with the blanket

"Happy four months" jungkook smiled to himself, taking the phone off speaker and pressing it against his ear as he sat down on his living room couch.

"So...uhm what are you up to this late ?"Taehyung asked into the phone, voice sounding more awake by the passing second.

"I'm in the living room,i just got home from the party i told you about"

"Right right "

"You?"

"Well i was catching up on some beauty sleep but someone decided i didn't need it" Taehyung laughed softly after his words, a small smile plastered onto his face as he switched hands and got under his covers,staring up at the ceiling.

"That's because my boyfriend doesn't need it,he's quite pretty on his own" jungkook joked, voice light and teasing

"Did you just call me your boyfriend?"

"yes, do you have a problem with it?"

"No"

"Good boy" Jungkook absent-mindedly praised, the phone pressed between his shoulder and ear as he removed his boots. It was quite chilly in the living room but he was afraid that if he were to go to bed he would drift off in the middle of the call.

"Did you just - never mind" Taehyung cleared his throat after his words,pulling the comforter up under his chin

"You're a baby you know that right?"

"And you're an ass"

"Awww it sounds like you absolutely adore me"

" i don't" Taehyung shook his head even though Jungkook couldn't see him. He could hear the other's smile dancing along in his voice and let out a muffled scream into his blanket

"what was that ?" Jungkook chuckled, letting his body hit the couch with a sigh

"Nothing nothing, you sound tired" Taehyung turned on his side,playing with the end of the blanket

"I'm not that tired love" Jungkook shook his head like he knew Taehyung could see him,like he would somehow be more believable that way

"Still," Taehyung pouted "you have an early shift today"

"But i want to stay and talk to you" Jungkook whispered into the phone and Taehyung heard shuffling. He figured the younger must have moved from the living to the bedroom.

"Stop it ,i might die" Taehyung whispered back. He had no idea why they were whispering.

"I'll call you later tonight then ?"Jungkook asked hopefully

"I'd like that"

"Goodnight Taehyung"

"Goodnight Jungkook"
