chapter 26

Taehyung turned around towards the unfamiliar voice. The person was taller than him, wore a long trench coat and had glasses resting in their hair. Taehyung could feel Jungkook's hand sqeeze his own and his heart absolutely dropped

He knew it was Jungkook's ex lover.

He turned back to study Jungkook's expression, study his eyes and see if they had changed, if the adoration they held a moment ago was gone.

But instead there was this burning fire, an  unexplainable rage that blinded him for a second before he blinked and turned his attention towards Taehyung again.

"I - God this fucking asshole" Jungkook cursed, getting up and dusting his clothes off.

"What do you want?" Jungkook asked as he turned to look at the male that stood a few meters away. Taehyung slow rose himself , standing behind Jungkook.

" i was just passing by and i happened to see you so-"

" so you what ? Wanted to exchange pleasantries? Wanted to exchange hugs or some bullshit ?" Jungkook's voice was calm, he didn't want to make a scene infront of Taehyung.

"Calm down"

Jungkook fists clenched together, itching to just punch the freaking asshole and break his nose. His eyes landed on the petite female next to him and he smiled at her.

"He's a lying cheating asshole, beter leave him before he steals all your valuables"

"Jungkook"

"Jinjung"

"Let's , jungkook , Let's go" Taehyung softly tugged at the younger's flannel. He looked up with pleading eyes.

"Hey no this is our date-"

"Please? Just this once" Taehyung pleaded,looking up at Jungkook through his lashes. He intertwined their hands and pulled him along in the opposite direction.

The stream was huge anyway, they could just walk along it and go sit at a bench if they happen to see one. Jungkook huffed, mumbling something underneath his breath before he started follwing Taehyung.

Taehyung leaned his head against Jungkook's shoulder , feeling the gentle breeze ruffle his sweater and slightly push his beret back.

The lights were twinkling along the edge of the concrete slab. Taehyung smiled up at a pair of lover's passing them , bowing his head once he made eye contact with the female.

He could still feel how tense Jungkook was from the encounter so he stopped walking. He turned Jungkook to face him with a soft smile on his face , his arms loosely wrapping around Jungkook's neck.

Jungkook stared down at him with a soft gaze, hands going to place themselve on the older's waist.

"Just focus on us m'kay ?" Taehyung smiled a bright smile, one that Jungkook's knees bucking underneath him.

"The moment is totally ruined" Jungkook sighed, locking eyes with Taehyung. He completely got lost in those chocolate like eyes.

"It's fine, you were asking me something?" Taehyung did a little jump in Jungkook's embrace and the younger melted.

"Would you do me the honour and let me be your boyfriend?" Jungkook softly asked, eyes softening at the way Taehyung was smiling at him. He was just too pretty for this world.

" i thought you were never going to ask !" Taehyung softly slapped his chest like the drama queen he was, softly laughing afterwards. He lifted his head to kiss Jungkook , smiling into it.
