Taehyung had just finished eating,looking up at the digital clock that showed him it was already 9:10. He looked down at his phone,turning up the call volume to hear Jungkook's steady breathing coming from the other side of the line.
It was quite peaceful to just hear him breath on the other line, knowing that the younger was just one call away made him feel at ease.
"I should probally wake him up" Taehyung mumbled,putting his dishes in the sink. He held his phone up to his loud speaker and started playing the national anthem through it.
He heard a loud thud and groan follwing soon after,a big smile on his face as he switched off the speaker and held the phone up to his ear
"Wake up now sleepy head" Taehyung sing songed into the phone, giggling afterwards as he heard Jungkook say a string of curse words under his breath before he groaned into his phone
"I'm awake, you just scared the shit out of me" jungkook grumbled, rubbing his sleepy eyes to try and wake himself up. The sudden sound of the national anthem blaring through his phone had him jolting upwards and falling off the couch.
"I figured me just calling your name for thirty minutes wasn't going to wake you up" jungkook hummed, agreeing with the older's words.
"You're a very quiet sleeper, i thought you died after half an hour" Taehyung chuckled to himself, remembering calling out for the younger and then hearing a sleepy whine escape his lips.
" thank you for waking me up love" Jungkook sleepily spoke,voice deep and groggy
"No....no problem"
"Alright, I'll take a shower and message you before i leave, is that alright?"
"Perfect,please eat"
" i will "
"Okay,good-bye then boyfriend"
A light chuckle was heard on the other side of the phone and it made Taehyung's stomach knot
"Bye my love"
There was silence and then Taehyung's phone beeped in his hand. He looked at the contact name displayed, watching it flicker before his screen landed on his homescreen , the photo of Jungkook displayed for his eyes to see
Daddy:
I'll eat at the venue, don't worry so much my love
Taehyung smiled at the message, nodding his head as he plucked in his charger and replied to Jungkook's message.
