Ten more minutes.

Just ten more minutes and I'm out of this hell hole.

I mean, yes I love school, but today I was alone.

Every day for the past ten years of my life have been spent with her by my side outside and inside of school. Simultaneously, I smiled just thinking of her.

If she saw me in my eager state, she'd burst out laughing and most likely get herself a detention for disturbing the teacher's learning. But she was my little goody two shoes, she never got detentions. She would repeatedly say 'sorry' to the teacher and promise that she'd never do it again, permanently sticking to it.

And it was true, if she had a warning in just one lesson, she'd always make it up to the teacher and be at her best at all times.

Maybe that was why she was one of the faces for the school's information leaflets. She was the perfect example for a determined and hard working pupil.

If I ever went to the reception of the school, I'd always smile because I'd see over four piles of leaflets for visitors. And one of the piles would be her. Her smooth blonde hair in a ponytail(I loved it when it was out, in my opinion) and cascading over her shoulder, her body adorning the school's uniform. I never loved the school uniform, but when she wore it, I saw Aphrodite. Her hazel brown eyes would have a bright sparkle in the corner and her teeth would be revealed through her smile, her hands folded curtly in front of her as she posed in front of the school.

Yes, I'm using a Greek goddess to describe my girl but I can't hold back from the truth of it.

Every Monday, she'd stay back for an hour to participate in the school's choir. It was one of the extra curricular activities and she loved to dedicate her time to singing hymns. She had the absolute voice of an angel, the projection and harmony always being in tune and beautifully sung. Of course, most of the times I'm included as she pulls me from the back of the room and with a lot of pleading and some kisses, I'd oblige.

I mean, one cannot resist the puppy dog face my girl makes when she wants them do something.

Oh god, I'm saying it as if she's forceful and annoying and stubborn- you know what? I'm going to stop my ranting and tell you all the most important thing I love about her.

I love her.

I love her in a whole. I love that since the age of five, I was her first friend. I love that I was her first kiss, and she was mine. I love that a petty asking out at the age of ten actually lasted. Five years later, she's still by my side and mine to cherish till death do us part.

I love that out of all the boys in Holmes Chapel, she stuck with a pubescent and scrawny boy like me. I love that whilst being my girlfriend, she was also my best friend.

I love that we were each other's first, now fully committing ourselves physically and mentally to our ever growing relationship.

Call me whipped but hey, you try not being able to resist yourself to the world's most adorable girl when she's ill and she wants some homemade vegetable soup.

Yeah, I'm at her house in less than an hour with a container of soup and some of her favourite films in my hand.

I just love her.

"Agh!" I was literally hit out of my dreams, groaning as I rubbed the side of my head. "What was that for?" I looked up and noticed two girls in front of my desk.
