To say I was happy would be the understatement of the century,well, not really the century but you catch my drift right.I was beyond myself with excitement,reasons why you may ask well today is Friday.
Yay,no school for the next two days also no assignments for the first week,I swear this couldn't get any better.
Oh wait it does, Miles and I have been spending alot of time together during the week,either in school or coffee shops or little libraries literally anywhere we could meet.We kinda made it our mission to explore as much of florida as possible especially the restaurants and fast food places,I mean it does help with our project so it's a win win,and I got some good pictures too.
Tomorrow being Saturday we're going to the beach for the first time and I'm super excited to go swimming and explore parts of the beach.
It's fall so the weather is pretty much ok for the most parts so its perfect for a day out on the beach.
Getting home I noticed the lights are on which means my dad is back after being gone for almost 4 months
I should be excited to see him after so long but to be completely honest I got used to living alone over the years that somehow I don't miss him as I'm supposed to,anyway lets get this over with.
I turn the lock and get in to find him sitting watching tv.
The nerve of this man I swear
Don't get me wrong I really love my dad but I hate that he can just disappear for however long he wants and come back as if everything is alright when it really isnt at all.
" Hey dad, good to see you again,"I said putting on the best smile I could afford to
"Hello sweetheart,how was school?"
'It was fine,' I respond as I make my way to my room to avoid anymore more forced conversations.
I decide to just sleep because why not,I'll need the energy to deal with this nightmare I can't escape from.
I put my headphones in and shut the world out and listen to music till I sleep.
I wake up feeling so disoriented,looking around I find I've been asleep for about 4hours as it is currently half past 8, well I guess I needed the sleep more than I thought.
Making my way to the showers ,I get ready for bed.I know I just woke up but hey,who doesn't love a little nap here and there.
Once I'm dressed ,I take a novel from the bookshelf I have in my room and dive into the fictional world and try live my best life through the words of literature cause let's face it ,I really don't have a life of my own.

Waking up the following day,I find my neck stiff, I really don't remember falling asleep.
I find my book on the floor ,guess that makes sense now.
Damn I'm starving,who the hell told me it was a good idea not to head downstairs for dinner last night.
I quickly get dressed and make my way downstairs for breakfast.The sooner I face this the sooner I get out of this house.I can't avoid him forever,sigh,if only.
We agreed with Miles to meet at a park around the corner not that far from my house at around 10 and it's already 9 so I really need to get going.
"Morning sweetheart,I didn't see you last night ."I hear my dad say from the kitchen
At least he's making breakfast.
"I had alot of assignments and went to sleep right after,sorry though.'I offer my lame excuse.
"It's ok Heera,I needed to talk to you ,do you think you have time today."
I have to go and work on a school project with a friend today,how about we talk over dinner when I get back." I reason with him.
"That's okey sweetheart,sit and have breakfast then.
Pancakes,yay,I stuck a few to my plate,sprinkle chocolate syrup and of course whipped cream.
Finishing my breakfast,quickly washing my dishes I make my way out.
'See you later dad," I said locking the door on my way out.
When I got to the park,I went to the swings and waited for Grays to get here
Not even a minute passed before a hear a text come in on my phone.
Miles♥: Hey I'm here.
Me; I'm at the swings
Miles♥:Kay' I'll be there in a sec.
"Hey lil H"I heard from behind me.
' lil H really,couldn't think of anything better grays.
"Of course I could,I just like messing with you." He laughed.
So ready for our date,"
I slap him across the chest, IT.IS.NOT.A.DATE.you asshole.
"Yeah yeah yeah but it will one day
Just you wait and see."
Let's go Casanova.We have a long drive ahead of us.
"In that case how about ice cream for way.
'Awww you really know the way to my stomach,I laughed.
Come on lets go.
We get to the ice cream stand,
My treat ,what would you like today.
I ask him sweetly,"
"Make that a double scoop chocolate mint,"he gives me his order.
Giving his order I order a chocolate and vanilla double scoop for myself
"Didn't take you for a sweet tooth Gray,"
'Well Lil H,there's alot you don't know about me.'
Well I can't wait to find out.
