Harry opened his eyes to find himself with his head on Tracy's lap and her hand caressing his forehead. He groaned and tried to move to the side, but she stopped him.
"Don't. You're going to make the bandages fall off that way." she said.
He frowned and looked down to his stomach where bandages were wrapped around his abdomen and many spots of blood soaked the white fabric.
"How long was I out for?" he asked, looking around him.
Tracy replied: "You passed out, Harry. Obviously you've been out for a while."
Lonnie came up to them and put her hands on her hips.
"Ah, you're finally awake. That's good. We've been waiting forever. Now we can start the reverse process of Double D." she said, fixing Harry with a bit of a glare.
"What did I do?" he asked.
Lonnie rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and then said: "The whole ordeal with you passing out in my bedroom and bandaging you up took up most of our time. So now we only have three hours to do the reverse process of Double D and meet up with Jennifer at Archie's Warehouse."
She looked over at Tracy and gave her a look. "I need you in the basement. Now."
Lonnie gave Harry one last judgmental look before turning on her heel and walking away. Harry shook his head out of confusion and looked up at Tracy, who was smiling down on him.
"What?" he asked.
She chuckled and patted his head.
"Don't worry, Harry. I'll be right back. Come join us in the basement when you're ready." she said, and kissed his forehead.
She got up from the couch and placed a pillow behind his head and left him alone in the living room.

"Alright, let's get this party started." Lonnie said, and flipped the light switch.
Almost instantly, the basement was illuminated in yellow light and revealed the boxes that crowded the small space and the many cobwebs that covered the countertops of the tables set up all around the room.
"I can't believe I'm going to be working in a real science lab this time." Tracy said, eyeing the numerous tubes that sat on top of several shelves all over the walls.
"Well, technically, we're not really in a real science lab. We're just going to be working in a basement set up as a lab." Lonnie said, picking up a large cardboard box and placing it near the stairs to clear up some space.
Tracy trailed her fingers over the dusty countertops and observed the many oddly shaped tubes that stood on the counters. Tracy turned around and pointed at a small glass vase with a wine bottle opening resting near a large bowl in the corner of the table.
"What's this?" she asked.
Lonnie glanced away from the wires she was now working with in the electrical box on the opposite side of the room and said: "That's an Erlenmeyer flask. I wouldn't touch it if I were you; there were a lot of nasty things that went in there."
She wrinkled her nose before turning back to the wires. Tracy shrugged and continued to explore the laboratory-set-up basement.
"Do you think Jennifer knew everything about what happened from the start? I mean, everything about Double D and so on? Or do you think she knows more about the... personal stuff?" Tracy asked, on the brink of tears.
