Zodio was a tiny town. (Michael would often compare it to Luke's dick, because it was so small.) It was in the middle of no where. (Vermont to be exact.) Just like in most small towns everyone knows each other, and word got around fast.

So when Michael came out is was a huge deal. Not one person in Zodio was gay and open about it. Michael grew popular, really popular. (Mostly with the girls who saw GBF.) But it was more attention then what he had gotten before.

By the time Michael was a sophomore he was a spoiled brat. All the attention he craved at freshman year he had gotten and all he wants is more. As Michael grew so did his findings in sexuality, and maybe girls weren't as gross as he thought. And he made it official, he was bi. (Plus he has never actually done anything with a boy yet, you can't really experiment when you're the only gay boy.)

By the starting of junior year Michael became less and less popular. More and more kids figuring themselves out and soon he wasn't the only gay kid anymore. This angered Michael, but what mostly angered Michael was Calum.

Calum was the next kid to come out. Taking the spotlight off Michael and onto him.

Calum was shy in the beginning of it all blushing at small complaints, or not really talking at all. That made Michael mad too, it's almost like Calum doesn't want the attention he craved. But as Calum grew more popular so did his ego. And by the end of junior year Calum became a cocky, really cocky.

Calum seemed to be the new Michael of their tiny school. He was popular, dramatic, and most importantly gay. But no matter how popular and egoistic he got one thing always stayed the same, his mega nerdy crush on Michael.

He didn't notice Michael until Michael came out, freshman year. And Michael is truly why Calum questioned his sexuality. (And maybe Zac Efron, it was about the time high school musical came out)

The summer before senior year is the summer Michael and Calum finally get together. The whole town basically rooted them on (besides some irrelevant homophobics Michael didn't know the name of, they were that irrelevant.) Calum grew some balls and stuck post it notes all over Michael's car that said 'be mine?'.

Saying Michael was pissed is an understatement. He threw a tanturm screaming yelling even hitting Calum. He obviously said 'no'. Michael starts picking off the post-it notes, Calum comes and helps too. Somewhere in between they find themseleves in the back of Michael's car having hard core sex. That definatley made Michael change his mind.(Okay so maybe he liked Calum this whole time and was playing hard to get. The sex was a huge plus though.)

Summer went by fast after that for the two boys, always having dates or sex. (Not like either was complaining) And soon senior year started. Nothing really changed that year, the boys won prom king and queen or for their case king and king, got cutest couple in the year book.

Calum soon after senior year did, he changed a lot. Suddenly getting really possessive over Michael something, he didn't like. The ego was coming back. Michael wasn't blind he knew he wasn't the only one Calum talked too. Michael soon broke it off with Calum

It looked like Michael was the only one who grew up, while Calum was stuck in high school.
