Michael is awaken at an ungodly time in the morning, also know as a 11AM, by this phone ringing. He rubs his eyes groaning before answering the phone.
"Hello?" He says, morning voice evident. (Morning breath too, luckily they don't know that.)
"Ah hello, Mr.Clifford?' A man asks.
"That's me." Michael yawns.
"This is, Mr.Hood, I would just like to inform you that you got the job, congratulations!"
Michael is suddenly very awake."Wait, are you fucking serious."
Mr.Hood sighs."Since I am your boss now, please watch your language, but I am fucking serious." He then adds. "Your interview was terrible, you are not qualified at all. However Calum convinced me to hire you, so here we are."
"Oh well, thanks!" Michael says smile growing each second. "I have to go now, but I won't disappoint you! I promise! I will even wear skinny jeans that don't have holes in them!"
"Don't make promises you can't keep, Michael." Mr.Hood sighs a small smile on his face. "Your first day is tomorrow, 7AM, sharp, see you there, goodbye." The line goes dead, and Michael squeals.
He runs out of bed and into the kitchen, where Evelyn is drinking her coffee.
"Guess who got a job!" Michael says happily.
Evelyn looks up from her coffee. "Good one babe."
"Eve, it's not a joke, I am a employed man, ready to take on the world." He says sitting down in the seat next to her.
"Babe, really, I didn't expect you to get a job this early on, you don't have to lie." She says putting her hands on his.
"But i'm not lying." Michael says furrowing his eyebrows.
"Sure, sure you're not." She says taking a quick sip of her coffee.
Michael just sighs, he is gonna prove them wrong, all of them.
