A/N: I haven't updated in quite a while, and of course, the first thing I post is very suggestive. Naga!Sephiroth X Reader stuff is coming soon.
"Remind me how I got roped into this." Sephiroth groaned, burying his face into his hands.
"Because, you lost a bet to Genesis." Angeal snorted, "Speaking of which, here comes the man of the hour." The black-haired First gestured to the red-colored leather clad commander. Oh, and was he smug as ever; Possibly more smug than he had ever been in his entire life (Which, admittedly, seemed to be an impossibility.) Sephiroth, on the other hand, looked like he was about to be formally executed in front of all of Gaia.
"Now, Sephiroth, I assume you know what the bet entailed. And what you, as the loser, must do." He chuckled.
"Can't I do something else?" The silver-haired general pleaded.
"Nope. You swore on your SOLDIER honor to honor your end of the bet. _____ is right over there. Go on! Shoo, shoo!" Genesis half shoved his friend around the corner of the hallway, out into the open. _____, hearing the commotion, turned her head around to face him. He froze like a deer in the head lights, and was as read as the leather that Genesis wore. Swallowing roughly, he gathered up his courage and slowly made his way toward her.
Both Genesis and Angeal were poking their heads around the corner, watching Sephiroth's every move.
"You had him swear on his SOLDIER honor, huh?" Angeal snickered.
"I have my doubts that he'll have any left after this." Genesis pulled his phone out of his pocket, and after a few flicks of his thumb he had hit record on the video option.
"You're recording him? I thought the ordeal was going to make him suffer enough." Angeal pointed out.
"I'm recording every second of this if it's the last thing I do." Genesis made sure to keep his hand around the corner, so as to capture his glorious moment of triumph.
"Hello, _____." Sephiroth greeted his fellow SOLDIER operative.
"Hello!" She chirped, swinging her legs back and forth on the bench. _____, was a second-class SOLDIER (but rumor had it Angeal was pushing Lazard to get her promoted to first.) Despite her lower status, no one could really belittle her for her position, as she was the only female in all of SOLDIER. She was an excellent friend of the prestigious first-class trio. She was kind, innocent, sweet and level-headed. She had done so well on her previous missions, that she had earned a day off. But, even with all the other things she could do, she would still prefer to hang out with her friends.
"I need to ask you a few questions." He stated plainly.
"Sure!" Her eagerness faltered when she quickly noticed the odd change in what Sephiroth's behavior was, versus what it usually was, "Is something wrong?"
