After nearly two full months of planning, Amelia and Liz finally figured out what college they would go to after summer ended. Speaking of summer, Amelia and Liz spent their entire summer together. Despite getting to really know each other during this time, Amelia still never told Liz about her problems with her mother. There were even times when Liz would accidentally hurt Amelia because she didn't know about a few scars and bruises on her body. Amelia may have seen Liz nearly nude a few times, but she also made sure to always have her body covered when she was around Liz.

The two of them still got intimate more often than not. The only problem they had was trust. Amelia could trust Liz with everything, but Liz always knew Amelia was keeping something secret. Today, when the two of them were just sitting together and watching tv, Liz made sure to bring it up, "Hey, Amelia?" "Yes?" "How come you're not OK with me seeing your body? I've already gotten to know your assets and played a little with your womanhood~" Of course this caused Amelia to blush just a little bit, "My point is that you shouldn't be embarrassed to show yourself." Amelia was a bit nervous when Liz brought that up, but she couldn't tell her the truth, "I'm sorry, but I have my reasons. One day, you'll understand... or maybe one day I'll just get over it." "Understand what? Get over what??"

Amelia laughed at Liz's confusion and just sat closer to her. "This summer was the most fun I've ever had in my entire life. Thank you for everything." Amelia genuinely smiled while looking at Liz, but Liz had something different on her mind. 'How could this be the most fun you've ever had... All we did was stay inside, make out, watch TV, and played video games.' Liz didn't want to question it since she could already feel Amelia falling asleep. And she wanted to spend the last few days of summer with Amelia in bliss.

Time skip: Those last few days

Amelia had her bags packed and ready to go while she sat with Liz. The two of them were waiting for Liz's parents to arrive so they could say their goodbyes. Amelia didn't want to leave. She didn't want to go back to her abusive mother. The thought of what could happen really did scare her, and Liz could see it. "Liz, thanks for everything." "What can I say, I did promise you'd be safe with me." Amelia gave a nervous laugh.

Whatever this feeling was that the two of them shared, it led to the two of them passionately kissing yet again. And right on cue, Liz's parents walked in to see the two of them kissing. When the two of them pulled away, there was a long silence until Liz's father spoke up, "Guess I won't have to be worried about you bringing any boys to the house." He laughed at his little dad joke and went upstairs. As for Liz's mother, "I wish you told us sooner. Amelia, you can come over whenever you want. You're still family to us."

That encounter wasn't as bad as the two lovebirds thought. If anything, their walk to Amelia's house was somewhat dreadful. "A few more days and we can move into our dorms... Just the two of us, living together, learning together, fūcking together~" Amelia laughed at this but was soon covered in fear when they finally reached her house. "Ya know, I've never been in your house before. Maybe you could give me a tour?" "No... I'm sorry, but no. Goodbye Liz..." Amelia took one of her bags from Liz and went into her house.

Amelia found a few bottles on the ground, a box of pizza on the kitchen table, and her mother passed out on the couch. Amelia managed to get to her room without waking up her mother and even managed to put her clothes away. All she had to do now was get through a few short weeks and she'd be off to college. But for now, she went to sleep only thinking of her time with Liz.

When Amelia woke up in the morning, she immediately got to work cleaning around the house while her mother was still unconscious on the couch. It's not like she would've been able to do a deep clean but she was still able to make the house look less like a mess. It wasn't until Amelia made breakfast that her mother woke up. "Where the həll have you been?" "I told you that I wasn't going to be here this summer..." As her mother came closer, Amelia knew something was going to happen. "I made you a plate..." "Thanks, loser."
