Christmas Special: Rimuru's Grace

Rimuru POV:

It was 3 years after the Great Tenma War, and it was almost Christmas at Tempest. I, Rimuru Tempest. Remembered something during the war with Falmuth Kingdom.

Flashback:

I was at rage that I killed all of the remaining Falmuth soliders. Whether they surrendered, they didn't want to join the war, or they asked for mercy. I just killed them without mercy and forgiveness.

But one soldier still remains in my memory. That soldier who begged mercy for his daughters. When I first approached him, he has going for his pendant.

I remembred him saying to me when he saw me

"P...Please...! Spare mine... Please spare the lives of my Children...!" He said as he slowly crawled towards me with all of his strength.

I was looking at his pendant that has a white clover leaf as the design on top. It was quite an expensive pendant, inside the pendant was the picture of his beloved wife and his daughters and also a dried clover leaf.

Then he continued

"I... I knew exactly what the incursion was and yet, I participated in it. I was in the wrong...! My children... they know nothing...!" He said in a tone like a genuine father always cares for his daughters. It was also his dying wish.

I clapped at him as I look down at him and said

"Speak no more." I said as I walked towards him and gave him his pendant.

I then removed my mask and lowered myself a little as his level as I said in my gentle voice

"I have no need for their lives. You may rest assured that I will not take them."

I then stood up and fired {Megido} at his head for the painless death.

Flashback End.

>Ne Ciel.< I said.

<Yes, Master?> She asked.

>Is it possible to resurrect that man with his wife?< I asked Ciel.

<It is possible Master. You are already a True Deity. It means you can control Life and Death endlessly. You already have the souls of all those who died in the Cardinal World and to the other worlds.> Ciel explained to me.

I then told to Shuna that I will have my break from paperwork and called the Maid who is currently working as my maid.

Moments later I was at a part of the castle where I take my stroll when the maid came.

"You called me, Rimuru-sama." Said by the maid as she bows.

"Please take a sit." I said to her as I offered her a seat.

"P-Please, no need for me a lowly maid to sit with you Rimuru-sama." She said as she bows.

"No need to hold back yourself, I asked you to come here because I want to ask you something." I said to her.

Then she reluctantly complies and she too her seat.

"I will ask you a bit personal, will you mind?" I asked her.

"N-No, I won't mind Rimuru-sama." She said.

"Then, I will ask my question. Where is your father?" I asked her.
