As the Amidonian Army further moves west to capture more of the fallen Kingdom of Elfrienden, some of the former citizens of Elfrienden had accepted their faith, while most were still fighting off for their lives and land.
With Randel, Altomura, Parnam, and its surrounding land area fallen into Amidonian hands, the Amidonian Troops were now focusing their attacks on Red Dragon City, and soon, Lagoon City. Castor along with his Airforce were holding off, but it won't last longer as they were getting low on both food, bombs, and wyverns.
Meanwhile at Lagoon City, Duchess Excel Walter were preparing for the attack of the Amidonians. With the Navy and her granddaughter Juna Doma as her 2nd-in-Command, they were looking at the map to plan their defense for the city.
"Duchess Excel, the enemy's estimation of arrival in Lagoon City would be in 2 weeks." Said by the spy.
"Very well, keep me updated." Said Excel.
"As you wish." The spy bows as he left the office.
"Canaria." She calls Juna.
"Hai, Excel-sama?" Canaria asks in polite tone.
"Soften up the enemy." Excel orders.
"Hai." She then bows and left along with some of her men under her orders.
As Juna leaves the room, Excel was still looking on the map as she mutters "Did the Princess and Minister Souma made it out alive?"
'But for now, my first priority is to protect Lagoon City. It's been our home and territory for hundreds of years. If it happens that I got a news that Princess Liscia or Minister Souma were still alive, then I wouldn't hesitate to let them in.' Excel thought to herself as she looks out of the window to see the stars.

Souma Kazuya POV:
It was now the 1556th Year, Continental Calendar. It's been 10 years exactly after I had talked to Mother Elisha and Father Albert, the war between Great Tiger Empire of Haan along the countries under it and the Maritime Alliance with Fredonia, Kingdom of Euphoria, Republic or Turgis, and the Nine Headed Dragon Kingdom has concluded with our side winning thanks with all of the Maritime Alliance's assistance and Rimuru-san's support.

I have in total of 8 Children, among those 8 Children are 1 twins, a boy and a girl. In total I have 4 sons and 4 daughters. I'm actually a proud father. The twins named Cian Elfrienden my oldest son and twin, and Kazuha Elfrienden my oldest daughter and younger twin came from Liscia and I.
The rest would be a story for another time.
But there is one thing that is still on my mind... it was what could've happen in the different timeline where I was the Prime Minister there. I could've asked Rimuru-san back then, but I had decided not to.
