Hello everyone! This book will from now on contain a whole damn lot of spoilers for my other book. You might want to look there for some deeper understanding.

JENNIE POV:

Yeji's gone mad. Plain mad. The Chois are much, much stronger than they seem but, tsk, like hell she sees that. All she'd see is red as dark as blood. Nothing else. I've dealt with the Chois before, she would have no idea. Rosé, Jisoo and Lisa know what I've been through... even though I sent Rosé to convince Yeji out of it, I'm seeing only persistency. Stupid consistency.

Flashback:

"Do you even have any idea what the Chois are like?"

She shook her head and shrugged at my question. Gosh this girl will never learn how to listen to her elders.

"Nope, nor do I care. We have alliances and that's all that matter, we can overpower them with numbers. We have you which means we also have the Parks and the Manobans. The Shins have two sectors which are collided in to one large co-op. Also, we have the Lees and you know how powerful they are, right?"

Numbers don't always win a game, if they did then the Grandmasters of chess would not have won their games. True mafias stay hidden, does she not realise that? Everyone knows the Lees but almost no one understands the absolute power of the Chois. They control government, police and court. They are judge, jury and executioner. Yet no one sees them to their fullest. I do remember dealing with them when I was younger, my parents were sent to prison for 12 years... exactly the amount of time for them to miss my entire childhood. They were never there for my achievements nor when I needed someone to shelter under. What for? Getting into an argument with them because they didn't want turkey for dinner. Never undermine the quiet ones - I can guarantee Junsu was the quiet kid at school.

"The fact that you know is that dangerous part."

"How so? That can put them off."

I scoffed at her comment, sometimes I forget that she's only just entered the real world, "They can hire mercenaries to outnumber you if you tell them."

She shuffled around and bit her lip. Don't tell me.

"You told them?"

"Yes..."

"Are you stupid?!"

Those were the last words I said to Yeji before I left her behind in the alley where we had been talking. Oh god, we're so fucked. Why would she even tell them how much support we had? The Chois are tactical geniuses, they only need six men to take down an entire army.

Looks like I've got some work to do.

"Jennie unnie?" I heard Chaeyeon knock at my door, at least it was someone with a bit of sense.

"Come in Yeon."

She opened the door and rushed in in quite a hurry. Her cheeks were flushed and there was blood on her hands - quite literally. Did she run over here? I didn't get the chance to ask her that though, she was straight to the point, as always. Handing me the folder she glanced around then whispered, "This is the code to the Choi's weaponry station."

My which had previously been occupied with writing something up for Jisoo since Valentine's Day would be coming up in a couple months suddenly froze. My eyes rose up to meet Chaeyeon's, assessing her as to see her intentions here. She had never been this naïve, she was the one who had originally told me that you can not just waltz into your enemy's base. I believe she realised what I was thinking for she quickly followed it up, "Open the folder up and you'll understand."

I did so and my eyes immediately widened: dynamite, wires and a lighter. Bloody hell, was I meant to blow up the whole place?

"Yes and no. One of your men are supposed to blow it up."

"Alright. Please leave."

She left and I buried my head in my hands, fucking hell Yeji how much harder will you make this for me?

Unknown POV:

"Unload it! Come on, boy, unload it and give it to me!"

"I- I can't, daddy."

"Yes, you can. Just put it in your hands and give it to me, I'll do the rest from there."

"B-but..."

"No buts, we ain't got all day."

After about 10 minutes my son finally decided to pop the trunk and open up the box inside then give me the weaponry which would be stashed.

"Wasn't that hard now wa-"

A loud bang.

Followed by a crash.

Yells all around me.

"Dad!!! Dad!!! Come back!!!"
