The water laps the shore
As I look across the ocean
The ocean is blue
Does this reflect my mood?
The clouds are rolling in
The sky darkens
Thunder cracks in the distance
Does this reflect my mood?
The rain starts falling
Harder and faster
I still stand alone
Does this reflect my mood?
The waves once calm
Now storm the shore
The tide is rushing in
Does this reflect my mood?
I'm drowning in a storm
The waves crash over my head
The rain keeps falling
My life has darkened like the sky
It turns out this does reflect my mood.
