How did the world get so dark?
Filled with so many shadows
What happened to the light?
So many things seem to go wrong
Things that cannot be fixed
You may try
And you may fail
The light deserves to be seen
To give hope to those who need it
The shadows that haunt
Should be smaller
Less scarier
The darkness over
People's hearts
Shouldn't be there
People need the light
Need the hope
That it can bring
Yet so many are lost in the darkness
So many need our help
Will we let it get to far?
Or will we open the curtains
And let that light shine through?
