Friendship restored

The two pulled out of the kiss both out of breath “Shall we go?” Cole asks Kai “Yes, of course” they both got up and started walking to the camp site where the ninja were staying while holding hands. When they finally arrived Kai stood back as Cole went closer to call the others over. “Guys come look! I have a surprise for you, close your eyes!” Cole told the ninjas excitedly “Okay okay we're coming” said Lloyd. All the ninjas closed their eyes, including Wu and Cole led them back to Kai who was standing about 10 feet away from them all with teary eyes. “You can open your eyes now!” Cole said and the ninjas did as he said, “Is that..?” Nya said while tearing up. “I'm back, Nya, Lloyd, Zane, Jay and Wu” Kai said as tears fell down his cheeks, he opened his arms for them “Come here” he said with a shaky voice. Nya was the first to run up to Kai and hug him, next came Lloyd and then the others, they all hugged Kai, except Wu. “It's nice to see you alive, Kai.” said Wu to Kai, the amber eyed boy just smiled and nodded his head. After a good minute they stopped hugging and went to sit down around the campfire to know all about how Kai had been.
“I fell into a coma after I was found in the fire and I was in a coma for 5 months. After those long months I was let out of hospital after finding out that I had a memory loss, my name was Kai Smith and that I have powers. I saved a little boy from freezing to death by the pond and after that Ma and Pa took me in to live with them under one contition, that I would work at their bakery and I have been working there for almost 2 years now. I got my memories back by the pond once Cole hugged me, the magic of friendship, yay! And that's pretty much all. I also found out that I'm not immune to fire and that's why I have all of these scars on my body.” Kai explained. “Wow.. I'm sorry we left you in the fire, Kai. You were too dangerous to get close to even though I wanted to save you, but Nya stopped me” said Lloyd to Kai. “It's okay. It was my fault that I got so worked up because of that asshole Zaron. I shouldn't have listened but he just said everything I could relate to and it was all bad.. I'm really sorry for causing such a huge mess a..and not being able to fix it..” Kai started sobbing “I told you, it isn't your fault, Kai.” Cole put his arm around Kai trying to comfort him, Kai cried into Cole's shoulder “Guys, I'll get Kai back to his house, you don't have to wait for me. I'll take some time.” Cole said as him and Kai stood up and started walking to Kai's house which was about 20 minutes away. 20 minutes later
they finally arrived at Kai's house “Well, this is your stop.” said Cole to his loved one “Thanks, Cole. I love you” Kai said before kissing Cole goodnight “Night.” says Cole as he waves at Kai. Cole goes back to the camp while Kai goes inside to see his Ma and Pa waiting for him. He explains how he got his memories back and he found his friends again, the old couple was really happy for Kai and allowed Kai to go with his friends when they decided to go back to new Ninjago city. Kai thanked them before heading to bed.
