Aww, thank you! I'm glad you enjoy their dynamic. I think Apollo might make one more appearance, I'm not sure. I have it planned, but might cut it out if it doesn't fit. Yeah, I decided that he would be cool with it because Percy did swear to protect her. If he breaks that oath, he fades to nothing. (Cool little lore detail that I don't think will be mentioned in the story, so I'll put it here!) Anyways, I hope you continue to enjoy!

Chapter Four

     Perseus had a strong desire to go north. A really strong desire. Almost like a need.

     He set off in that direction.

     The woods were silent as he walked. There were no bugs, no rustling of leaves. The silence was broken by the leaves crunching under his feet.

     The farther he walked into the woods, the darker it got. Perseus wasn't afraid of the dark, but it definitely made it harder to see. As he kept on, the sounds of battle started to break the silence. He broke into a sprint.
