They flew over the cool river breeze. The sight of the river was more calming as it was when Gregor first came. The earth quake had changed the speed of the water. As they flew past the cave where Gregor had experienced his first rat attack, he was washed with the trauma. Being the victim of Fangor and Shed, finding out about the prophecy, endangering others lives. Luxa must have noticed he became uneasy and leaned backwards on him resting the back of her head on his shoulder. Halfway through the ride Aurora showed up to join them. They arrived is a vast cave studded with crystals. The cave displayed colourful light as their torch reflected off it. They sat down and set up the picnic.
"So," Gregor begun, trying to strike up a conversation, "How does a planned bonding work?"
"Everyone close to the two getting bonded would be gathered in the trail room. The pair will be on the stage as they recite the pledge and become bonded. After that a small feast is held," Ares explained.
"Oh so that's whats happening tomorrow?" Gregor said as more a statement than question.
"Yes. In fact they had started preparations when I took off," Aurora said.
"Hazard has been persistent on bonding with Tetris as soon as possible. He is afraid to lose her like Thalia especially after our recent quest," Luxa said.
"He really did want to bond with Thalia," Ares said.
"I think Tetris suits him better," Aurora said.
They ate in silence for a while.
"Do any of you know what Nerissa's prophecy is about?" Gregor asked, hoping to get a insight about it before they meet.
"No I do not. Nerissa and I do not speak often," Aurora said.
"I do not know either," Ares said.
"All she has told me is that it is very confusing. She says a part of it has a certain familiarity but she can't quite find out what it is. She is hoping one of us would remember whatever she is forgetting. She thinks, after finding out what that one part means everything else falls into place," Luxa explained.
From what Luxa had described this prophecy seemed as hard as the Prophecy of Blood to decipher if not harder.
"Vikus would probably know what it means," Gregor said reassured.
By now they had started wrapping up lunch. The water outside of the cave seemed to be getting wilder.
Gregor noticed this and asked, " Is it normal for the water to do that?"
They all turned to face the water. Now the water was making waves getting progressively bigger as they watched it.
"No," Luxa said absent minded, "The water currency doesn't usually change."
At this point the water seemed o be shaking their cave rocking it side to side. This feeling didn't please Gregor one bit.
"Wrap up everyone. I don't know what's going on but it's not good," he said, trying to not panic.
By the time they had finished wrapping up the waves had risen to dangerous crashing heights leaving barely any room for the bats to fly back to the palace.
Gregor was finally hit with what was going on. He remembered learning about it in elementary, watching them destroying cities on the news
"Gregor, is this another earth quake?" Luxa asked.
"No. I think we're in a Tsunami."
