Episode Twelve Season Three: The Rough Night

It was at least one in the morning as Wander was tossing and turning in bed having a really hard time getting comfortable in the guestbedroom in Westley's house. Wander never liked the idea of being a guest in someone else's home unless he and Sylvia has no choice, which in this situation is the case. Though this isn't the ONLY reason why Wander hates this idea and only uses it if they're all in a desperate situation where any hotel or motel has a rating that's below 7.5 stars.

The main reason why Wander is having trouble falling asleep is mostly because of how he needs to not only apologize to Sylvia for leaving her hanging but he also needs to figure out how to explain things to her and keep the peace between her and Sketchbook, who's deeply hurt by everyone she has said about him. Wander for the most part understands why, especially since he truly thinks that Sketchbook may be suffering from low self esteem.

As a helper who vows to make sure he's able to help those in need, Wander feels that if he doesn't at least TRY to do something about this soon, why? Well because sooner or later things will only get worse and if things don't change by then Sylvia and Sketchbook may never give each other a chance to forgive each other and that's the last thing Wander needs happening. Wander quietly sighs to himself as he carefully takes the blankets off of himself and his hat which he was using a sleeping bag in bed as a means to stay warm since the Omni-Galaxy is in December right now.

Wander goes downstairs and walks into the kitchen to make himself some decaf tea in order to calm his nerves and hope that it helps him go to sleep. Wander has always remembered how either his Mom or Dad would give him a small cup of decaf tea before tucking him in bed when he was a small child being homeschooled at the time due to the family not having enough money to send him to a proper school until he was at least 15 years old. Wander uses his hat to grab what he needed to make his small cup of tea before he begins doing so as quietly as he can not wanting to wake anyone up at during this odd hour.

???: .......... *Yawns and stretches, whispers* Wander...?

The Rough Night

Wander jumps in surprise before turning around to see that it was just Sketchbook, who he assumes was having a hard time sleeping as well just by how the top of his head looks and how despite how tired he looks his body just won't let him sleep. Wander also assumes that it could be stress that's keeping Sketchbook up just like how stress is keeping Wander up. Unfortunately for Sketchbook, Wander was right as Sketchbook walks over to him seeming to look like he needs help with his sleep.

Wander: *Whispers* Hey Sketch, you feeling okay?

Sketchbook: .......... *Whispers* No... I can't sleep, like, at all...

Wander: *Whispers* Well, I'm making myself a small cup of decaf tea. Would you like to try and see if that would help?

Sketchbook: .......... *Whispers* Yes... I seriously cannot sleep and I desperately need help at this point, it's been going on like this for about almost a week now...

Wander suddenly froze, did Sketchbook really say this has been happening to him for almost a week!? Wander decided to at least make Sketchbook a small cup of decaf tea before at least trying to figure out what could be bothering him this much that it's costing him this much sleep. As soon as Wander finished two small cups of tea and lets Sketchbook have a chance to drink all of if before asking him if he could help figure out what's causing Sketchbook to lose this much sleep.

As much as Sketchbook hates this kind of stuff, since Wander would probably just ask him questions and not try to probe him with experimental machines, Sketchbook decided to trust Wander mostly due to him not being the type of person to disrespect personally space... Most of the time. Wander and Sketchbook goes upstairs to the guestbedroom they're both sharing while Sylvia sleeps in a guesthouse that's in Westley's backyard.
