Be prepared for a cringey proposal🤭

December 24th 1995, 8:05 pm

"So tomorrows the day." Robin said excitedly.

"I know." Mike sighed. "I'm really nervous. A lot of people are going to be there and what if he says no?"

"Then I will beat his ass." Robin started. "But it's very unlikely because he loves you very much Mike. I can tell." She smiled.

"It's true Mike. Gay intuitions." Nancy said. "There is no way he's gonna say no."

"Still." Mike sighed. "You guys remember the plan right?"

"I remember it like I remember my name." Robin laughed.

"Same here." Nancy smiled. Mike sighed in relief.

Mike had never been more excited and nervous for the same day as he is right now.

"I'm going to bed now." Mike said with a yawn.

"It's only 8?" Nancy said confused.

"I know but I'm tired. See you guys tomorrow." Mike said as he got up and left Nancy's room.

He later in bed but he couldn't go to sleep. He took 2 melatonins and he had warm milk but he just couldn't sleep.

He finally fell asleep at 3 am, knowing he wasn't going to wake up until like 6 pm because of the melatonin.

December 25th 1995, 9:15 am

"Mike wake up." Lucas said shaking Mike.

Mike groaned and slowly sat up as he rubbed his eyes.

"What time is it? Is Will here yet? Shit I have to get ready!" Mike said quickly when he was finally awake enough to talk.

"9:15 am, no and no you don't. Everyone else doesn't get here until 12pm you have almost 3 hours." Lucas replied trying to calm Mike down.

"Oh. Then why are you here right now?" Mike questioned.

"I came to help you get ready for your proposal. Did you forget?"

"How could I forget? I only stayed up until 3am worrying about it. And that's after I took 2 melatonins."

"God Mike. When Nancy warned me you were really nervous I didn't expect you to be so bad." Lucas rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I'm just worried like what if he says no? I'm going to propose in front of everyone."

"You'll be fine Mike. Go back to sleep for a while, I'll talk to Robin and Nancy or something and I'll wake you up at 10:30." Lucas said about to leave the room.

"Thank you." Mike said as he laid back down and quickly fell asleep.

It was now 11:15 and Dustin is over now too.

"Which suit should I wear?" Mike asked.

"Wouldn't Will think somethings up if he sees you in a suit? He knows you never dress fancy even on Hollidays." Dustin questioned as he took a handful of Cheeto Puffs.

"I'm wearing a sweatshirt over it so he doesn't see it." Mike replied.

"Good idea. I think you should wear the grey and white one with the light blue tie. It matches your personality." Robin said.

"Perfect. That's the one I wore on our first date." Mike smiled grabbing the suit.

"Now go get changed." Lucas said as he patted Mike on the back.
