Eda's pov:
This store is not as big as the one we usually goes to and it has been ages since I been to one to buy a present. All gifts I bought for my sister ,parents and friends are the ones I bought from online which are custom made probably. Now it feels new and nostalgic to walk in between many toys and gifts.
"Take a look around and decide eda" Saying this aditya stood at the entrance where he can see the store and moreover I will have some privacy to admire everything and buy stuff that I liked. There are few teens ,kids and their parents buying what their hearts asked for.
"Di (sister) please gimme that" A boy around three years old hit me at shin with his tiny fist, he is pointing at a water gun. Smiling I pulled one out of the bunch to give him, he went away giggling to show that to his mom. Then I turned around to admire all beautiful things present around me.
I picked two bracelets with silver stars and moon for me and ashu, she is definitely going to like it.
After searching for another hour I found a perfect gift to present him then after I picked few more things like pencils, erasers with different prints on it for my diagrams, I can't help the kid inside me.
"Bill them up please" I placed all things I am going to take home on the counter for the person behind to see and calculate.
"Have we met before?" An old lady in her late fifties who is calculating my things asked
"Nope"
"But I feel like I have seen you somewhere before" The lady said putting a pen inside her mouth.
I cringe but didn't show it out.
"You might have seen her on television dadi" A voice said from my back.I turned and saw a guy from our class carrying a big cartoon of plushie toys.wow!
"You are shiva right?"
"Oh I am flattered that you are aware of my existence"
"Who don't, you literally made seniors piss in their pants" We both laughed
"Who is she bunny?" His dadi asked
"She is my classmate and daughter of world's best doctor Arjun Dahiya" He said side hugging her.
"Oh that's great to hear dear"
I smiled
"Thank you"
"Here is your bill total 5,000 Rupees" I extend my card for him to scan
"Okay then uhm see you on monday" I am feeling awkward having nothing to talk to. I just saw him in the college and heard about his support to our juniors but we never crossed paths despite sitting in same class.
"Only if your bodygaurd approves?"
"Hey he is not strict, he is so calm you guys just run away seeing him" I defend but in reality it's true.
When it's with veer uncle everything is so fucking hard with rules and regulations and I have to obey them at any cost,cause it's an order from my grandfather for my protection from our enemies
I mean that's what they told.
As our university has students from all around the country with different languages, habits and attitudes I have been under veer uncle's sight these past one and half year. I know it's so indignation but I have to oblige.
After half an hour I am walking into the living area of my house
"Show us what you got?" Eva literally jumped like a kid seeing santa Claus on Christmas. I guess from the print on bag gave away the information about the things inside.
"This is for you" I forwarded what I brought for her
"Whoa you are back already" Mom mumbled ending the call with someone. She is about to leave but stopped seeing Eva tearing up the wrapper frantically to see what's inside.
