Sapphire walked back to the base. She was a little reluctant to leave the teachers by themselves, but they assured her it would be fine. They, including students. The students had to convince her. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust the teachers, it was that they themselves didn’t seem very convinced. However, it wasn't up to her, and also, the FwF agents weren’t all that worrying, so it’d be fine.

When she arrived back at base she noticed Kate, Russel, Madeline and others gathered around SSund- Ian. She considered going over to see what was happening, but decided against it.
She went into her room, and checked her schedule. She had nothing on for the rest of the day. She pulled out her phone to check for any correspondences from FwF, and ended up scrolling through youtube shorts.

As it started getting dark in her room, she got up and shut her curtains and turned on the light. She decided to set an alarm for dinner, lest she got carried away scrolling and missed it.

A little while later, someone knocked on her door.
“Come in!” she called, putting her phone away.
Nico walked into her room.
“Hey Sapphire! How are you?” he asked.
“Good, how about you?”
“Good, uh. Sapphire, how do you feel about having a train slash play duel with someone?”
“Not one for beating round the bush, are you?” she teased.
"I am the best at beating around the bush," he replied sarcastically.

"I don't mind it though," she said, drawing attention back to the subject at hand. "What would I have to do and what would it be for?"
"Well it would be so you're more confident with fighting with your sword, and all you would really have to do is fight against someone. Luckily, one of our students have already volunteered to duel you. If you say yes," he added quickly.
"I don't mind, would it be here or…?"

"She lives in her own house outside, so I was thinking we go to her house for the duel?" he suggested.
"That works," she said.

"Okay." he said, pulling out his phone. He smiled and put his phone away. "Right, that's m-," her alarm cut him off.
"Sorry, I set an alarm for dinner in case I got to engrossed scrolling," she said.
"Understandable," he said.

He was just about to head out when he said, "Oh yeah, you're both going to be using default swords instead of your custom ones,"
"Okay," she said, grabbing a jacket before she followed him out.
