I walked inside Austin's house plopping on the couch, making myself at home. "Change of plans, Alex is coming tonight" "Really? Great, our three musketeer circle will be complete" "Well not really...he's brining some girl named Emily."
"Alex? A girl? What is this new sorcery" he laughed and plopped down beside me "Yeah he claims it's a date so we have to be on our best behavior" "Awh, he must really like her" "Yeah, I guess you'll have to be my date for tonight"" He winked playfully "Erm...yeah, why not, it's just for fun it's not like it's for reall or anything which if it was that'd be a little crazy an-" "I was kidding" he raised his eyebrow ".....psh, so was I" "Right...hey, i'm sorry abut Logan and all" He said putting his hand on my back. "No, its okay....its my fault. I should have known he was just a player..." "Well it's not your fault...forget about him, let's go" He said grabbing my hand. "Where are we going"? "To the tree house, duh"
Austin and I have a tree house out in the woods. We've had it since we we're like.. eight years old. We use to and we still go up there a lot. We talk about the most random things. Its kinda like "our" thing. We decided it should be built at his house because we'd be able to stay in there longer, his mom is the cool mom so she let's us stay out a bit longer, it works out perfectly.
Once we there, we climbed up and got inside quickly. "We haven't been up here in a couple weeks Cal" "Yeah, I know" I said scrunching my knees up to my chest and rapping my arms around them "I missed being up here....and I miss you" "I-I miss you too...i'm sorry we haven't hung lately" "It's fine we're together now, right?" He smiled softly...God his smile melted my heart every time.
But it wasn't fine....I've been spending so much time with Logan, I bet Austin feels like I've had no time for him.....ugh i'm so stupid sometimes..
"I guess so...i'm really sorry" I looked down waiting for a response but it got quiet. I looked up and next thing I know, he suddenly started leaning in. My heart was beating a thousand times faster than before. Do I kiss him? Do I not kiss him? What is even going on!? I'm overthinking..I leaned in anyways, we got closer and closer until "HEY GUYS"! We jumped back immediately as Alex popped in.
"Hey Alex" I stuttered. "Hey bro" Austin said as his nodded his head once. "What's going on up here"? He asked curiously "Nothing" I replied dryly "Yeah okay" He said climbing all the way in the treehouse. "So I hear ya gotta little lady friend" I nudged him with a wink.
Alex quickly looked at Austin and gave him a glare. "You HAD to tell her didn't you" He sighed. "Sorry" He laughed. "Okay! I wanna know everything about her"! I said scooting towards him. He rolled his eyes and said "Well, her name is Emily. She's really sweet and has long blonde hair..." He trailed off about her personality and looks. "AWWWW that is too cute" I said teasing him. "Yeah yeah, just don't tell her I said any of that"
"Hello"? We suddenly heard someone call from down below. I whispered "Is that Emily"? H nodded in response.
"I'll go invite her up" I said climbing down. "No Callie"! Alex whispered but it was too late. I climbed down all the way to see a young girl with long blonde hair and pale skin looking around, she was lost....I walked up to her, meeting her bright green eyes to my blue ones. "Oh um hi" she waved shyly. "Hi! I'm Callie" I waved back with a little smile ""Nice to meet you, I've heard lots about you " "Really? you too....well, "Alex is up in the treehouse a-" "OH! I love treehouses"! She gasp. "Well you can go ahead and go up"! I said pointing towards the ladder. "Thank you"! She said running towards it.
