Chapter 15- Making A New Friend

"Hurry up doofus! I don't wanna be late because of my lazy sister"! Jason yelled running in. "Get out brat" I said running towards him. "Just hurry it" He said sarcasticlly as he fixed his honey brown colored hair. I rolled my eyes, pushing him out the door quickly, and slammed it shut. I got dressed in short shorts, a baggy white tank top to wear you could see my black, skinny, short tank up under, and some kicks. I felt like being a little spicy today I guess you could say.

As we arrived at the soccer field, I whined as I saw a bunch of other little boys. They were just like little clones of Jason. My worst nightmare. Jason quickly hopped out of the van and out on the field. "Come on Cal" My mom called as she grabbed the cooler. Mom coaches the little cheerleaders. Okay when the hell did soccer get cheerleaders? Is it just me or...LOOK I don't care about this sport. No offense to any soccer players out there. Anyways, the cheerleaders are adorable so their fun to watch at least.

I climbed up on the dusty, cold, metal bench as I grabbed my Ipod out. I started to get hot and sweaty, so I let down my hair, as my blonde streaks started to show at the end of it. I quickly looked to my right to see a guy there. I quickly jumped "DUDE"! I shouted. "Woah woah sorry" He apoligized. His quiff styled hair was perfectly in place, his eyes were pure brown, and his lips, were like Austin's. Soft and gently pink but his outfit? Told a diffrent story. (If you wanna see what Blake looks like, look in the comment section for the link) I looked down to see he had on combat boots, black skinny jeans, a tight white tank with a huge leather jacket, and tons of homemade looking braceletes on his wrists. "Whats up" He said nodding his head, almost trying to be cool. I, of course said somehting lame "The sky duhh" I folded my arms. "Lameeeee" "Yeah I know...anyways who are you"? "Blake. Blake Williams...and what about your self"? He said examining me. "Um....Callie. Callie Jenners" "Pretty name for a pretty girl" He winked. I laughed a bit "What are you trying to pull on me" "Nothing...just trying to get to know you" He winked. I scoffed "Yeah, right". "Anyways, why don't we get outta here and have some real fun" I laughed out loud "Yeah sure" "Really"? "No" "Why, you know you want too" "I'll get in trouble" "Awww good girls gonna get in trouble" He mocked. "Shut up...fine i'll come" "Awesome, lets get going while no ones looking" "Um alright" I sighed, following him to the end of the bench.

Behind it, was the start of some woods. "I didn't even notice this..." I said looking at it. "Pay attention next time then yeah"? "Shut itttt" I hissed. "Lets go" He chuckled. As soon as I walked through the clump of what I thought was brush, I soon stumbled upon a small path, which Blake had already been walking on. "Coming"? He stopped and asked. "Erm yes" I hesitated. Why the hell am I going off the the woods with some guy I just met. Honestly, I don't even care today. As long as it meant getting away from Jason and his "clones" i'm happy...plus its quite shady out here.

We walked and we walked and we walked until finally I started to hear the sound of water. "Whats the noise"? I asked, stopping. "Oh, theres a creek down here" "It sounds like a huge water fall" I said, resting my hand on my hip. "The water is just fast down stream" "Oh..." "Come on then" He said motioning me to follow him. "Were going to the creek right"? "Exactly" He nodded his head. Finally we were there, the creek was going fast downstream as the the bigger fish struggled to go through so they just followed the water. "Big fish in here.." I widened my eyes quickly. "Yeah I know right" He smirked. "Its so hot out here" I complained. Mainly because the shade was gone. "Welll then get in" "W-what"? "Yeah. No harm in getting in" He shrugged his shoulders. I mean he was kinda right because trust me, it was a deep creek. "I don't think so" I shook my head. "Fine, your loss" He said taking off his jacket, then his tank, revieling his abs. "Um what the hell are you dong" I scoffed. "Getting in" He smirked again. "You'll just get taken down stream" I said pointing towards the super fast motioned water.  "Fine, I won't get in ONLY because you know you can't resist me" He bluffed. "PLEASE I already have a boyfriend" "Oh yeah? Who"? "Au-...um why do you care" "I don't really. I mean I don't like you like that anyways" "You don't"? "Nope" He said popping the 'p'. I suddenly felt better about hanging around with him.

I couldn't help but notice a large branch hanging over the creek. I smirked and got up from the ground, sat my Ipod and phone down, and walked over to it. I thought about it for a second and thought "Ah, whatever. I'm gonna live it up"! Even though....this isn't really a risk. "What are you doing"? Blake asked starring at me in confusion. "Nothing, I just wanna sit on this branch" "Why"? "I don't know, I just want too" I lashed as I climbed on it. It was almost like a swollen branch so it was fine or so I thought. "Just be-" He was cut off when the branch broke and I fell straight into the water. "Careful..." He sighed. I started slowly going down stream but Blake grabbed my hand from the side and pulled me out. My hair, outfit, everything...soaked. "Never.....doing.....that......again" I growled. I looked to see Blake laughing under his breath. "ITS NOT FUNNY"! "Okay okay okay....well...its kinda funny" He admitted. "....yeah...kinda" I smirked. "Here" He said handing me his jacket. "We should probably get going" He directed to me. I suddenly heard my phone start ringing, of course my ringtone was Say Your Just A Friend. I quickly looked to see Austin pop up on the screen. "Hold on, I gotta take this" I told Blake. He nodded his head in repsonse as I answered the phone. "Hello......hey Austin...um I don't know if you left your watch, i'm not home, I'll look when I get back. Alright, bye" I hung up quickly. "Was that your boyfriend"? "How you figure that"? "Because..he left his watch at your house, his name has smileys and hearts on your phone...shall I continue"? "....Okay fine but you can't tell anyone" "I don't have any one to tell....and why wouldn't I be able too"? "Its a long story" "I'm up for a story" He nudged me. So I told him everything...and I mean everything. I don't know why but Blake seemed cool to me. Like I could trust him but I don't like him as a boyfriend or anything. "So, thats why we can't tell anyone" I said running out of breath at the end. "Wow....a lot of Drama" He shook his head. "Yeah..." "But I can tell Austin really likes you and you like him" "Yeah...I love him" I smiled shyly. "Does he know that"? "I hope so...but if you don't like me as a girlfriend, then...why were you flirting with me back at the bleachers"? "Oh, I do that to every girl" He chuckled. "Your a player"? "Nooooo. Not like that, I was just messing with you. Your not my....type" He admitted. "Right...and your not my 'type' " I sassed back. "Oh I see" "Yep"! "Were almost back" He said pushing through the clump of bushes. "My mom is gonna kill me" I groaned. "It was worth it if you ask me" He winked. "I guess" I smiled. "Hey so heres my number, call me sometime...as a friend" He reassured me. "Yes. I know" I said sarcasticly "See you later" He said walking off. "Bye" I said quietly.

"Callie, where the hell have you been"!? "I was ju-" "And who is that boy"!? "Mom hes' just a fr-" "Did you do anything with him"!? "MOM....no I didn't. Hes' just my friend. At least trust me on that" I groaned in frustration. "Were gonna have a talk when we get home" She said walking off. "Looking forward to it" I whispered to myself. Mom and I haven't been getting along so well. I need to straighten things out but now that I think about it, I wonder how things went with Emily And Alex....
