Chapter 9- Our Secret

I pulled away quickly. "I-i'm sorry" He trembled. "No, its alright" I said letting go of him. As much as I loved that kiss, I felt guilt rising. I was with Liam. Not Austin. I couldn't say anything to Austin because its not really his fault....I kissed back. Now i've gotten myself into something I can't get out of....

"Cal, wait" He said grabbing my arm. I turned around and he sighed. "We should talk about this..." "I guess your right" I agreed. We sat down on the ground as it became silent. "So...that was something" He chuckled. "Yeah it was". "What are we going to do"? "I don't know, I mean...i'm with Liam but I just kissed you" I stated the obvious as I ran my fingers through my hair. "Maybe we should just act like it didn't happen" He suggested. "Yeah, lets just drop it for now" I said shaking my head. "Hey guys" Alex said popping around the corner, making me and Austin jump a bit. "Whats up"? "Nothing....just talking" I hesitated. "Austin...can I talk to you for a second"? He asked. "Wow, I'm sure its not about me" I said sarcasticly. Austin chuckled and stood up. "Yeah bro and be right back Cal" "Arlight" I said back as they walked off.

Austin's P.O.V.

I kissed Callie....for the first time ever. It was unlike any kiss i've had before. The only problem is, she likes that jerk, Liam. I don't understand why she likes him so much, I know I could treat her better. I just wish she knew that.....

"So, whats' been going on with you two lately"? Alex asked. "What do you mean...nothing"? I hesitated. "Dude, come on" Alex gave me the "I wasn't born yesterday" look. "Nothing...I swear" I lied. "Yeah whatever" He chuckled. I glanced around the corner but didn't see Callie. I searched for her all over, until I turned around and bumped into someone. "Watch where you go-...oh my God, Cal"!? I looked to Calle in tears. They streamed down her face, making her mascara run. "What happened" "I just wanna get away from here" She cried. "Cal, whats wrong"? Alex said walking up. "Alex please lets just go" She cried again. I saw her look back for a second then she went straight to the car. I looked to see what she was looking at, Liam. I walked over to him "What the hell did you do to Cal"!? (Oh Austinnnnn ;) idek haha) "Ugh that girl? Hes' with me. not her" A girl said coming up by Liam. "W-wait dude" Liam said. "Why would you cheat on her!? You don't deserve an amazing person like her Liam..thats messed up" I sighed, walking away.~ The whole ride home, Cal wasn't speaking. I was in the back with her so I tried making her feel better. "Cal, you okay" "Not really..." I looked to make sure no one was looking....or aka, Alex as I reached over and slowly grabbed her hand, holding it. She looked at me and smirked. "Thanks Austin".

Callie's P.O.V.

"Bye Guys, and Cal forget about Liam. He sucks" Alex teased as he left Austin's house. "I know" I laughed. "See ya Alex" I waved. I shut the door and walked past Austin then into the living room."Wheres your family"? "Not here right now" He replied. "Right" I nodded. "So..how you feeling" "A bit better than before...but  I am so freaking done with guys right now" I sighed in frustration. "I'm your friend so that doesn't count" Austin teased getting closer to me."No...I can't Austin" I said pushing him away gently. "Fine" He sighed. "Austin, its just...I just got out of a relationship.." "You can be with me and you know i'll treat your right" "How will people react to it though" "Like who"? "Our moms, Alex, Emily, everyone" "I don't care" "I do....". It was all silence for a second until Austin broke it. "What if...no one knows" "Like a secret relationship"? "Yeah...I know its wrong but I really like you Cal". I smiled and nodded my head. "I really like you too Austin" I blushed. "Does that mean I have permission to kiss you now" He whined. I giggled "Yes" I said sarcasticly.

He smiled leaning in, as did I. Our lips brushed for a second until the door opened to his mom walking in. We jumped back as she walked in. "Hey guys" She said placing her keys on the table. "Hey Mom" "Hiiiiii mom"!!! I said in a British Accent. (If you forgot, she only calls her mom because shes' like her 2nd mom ) She laughed and went in the kitchen. "That was close" I sighed. "Yeah" He chuckled. "Austin"! His mom called. "Oh be right back" "Alright" I said back as he walked out. I sat there for a second until I saw him come back in. "That was qui-" I got cut off by him kissing me lightly then pulling away. "Did that make up for that kiss we missed"? He teased. "I think so" I said biting my lip. Maybe this whole secret relationship would work out but we can't keep it a secret forever......
