Day 14 ( Twins )

A day after the birth of Spade and Shadow, Lotus had been bed ridden. Rurik didn't want Lotus walking around after the fact that he had just given life to their offspring. Sitting at the side of the room to keep an eye on his husband, crossing his arms, slowly falling asleep until he heard Spade crying loudly down the long hallway. The twins had been given the same bedroom that the maids had prepared them earlier on. Rurik stood up from his chair, looking over at Lotus who was still bed ridden. He had been fast asleep, gathering more of his energy for later whenever they choose to do something together. Rurik chuckled, leaning into his lover, kissing his skull a bit, said; "you did an amazing job, Cup. Sleep well~~"  then to retreat into the hallway.

Over into the room over across their own bedroom, Spade was snuggling into her brother. Scared of the dark. Shadow had big wide eyes, protecting his twin. Snuggling close.

Rurik opened the door a bit, some of the light came in from the hall. "Hey, it's okay, papa is here." Rurik's voice hushed. He went over to the crib, picks Spade up, and sitting across from Shadow who was still in the crib. He had the most content face on while sucking on his pacifier. Raising his arms up in an air hug for his father to also hold him. "Heh, a little air hugger, huh, little man?" Rurik asked, and got a curious eye look from his little baby boy.

He grabs at the air, wanting to be held. Whining a bit, continuing to grab at the air with his little hands. Making it look like he was waving at the air.

Rurik calls Geno into the room, and he helped Shadow over to his father.

"There you go, little Shadow. It seems that he really doesn't want to leave his sister's side." He spoke, smiling lightly. "I guess so, thank you, Geno. This helps." Rurik understood he wasn't very experienced with being a new father to his newly born.

"It's not a problem. Call me again when you need me, alright? And please--"

"Don't do anything stupid." Geno shot him a warning glare with his eyebrow arched, and left the room happily knowing that he was now a grandmother. Watching him walk out of the room.

Geez, he has some nerve. Rurik thought, sighing heavily, holding not one, but two twins now on his lap.

Shadow was once again content. Making the cutest, happiest noise that Rurik has ever heard. He swore his heart just melted by hearing it.

Spade soon gave an audible giggle, climbing up and sitting on her father's lap. Shadow did the same, snuggling into him. Yawning while snuggling into his chest, close to Spade. Rurik then rises his head to see one of his half brother in the door. Crossing his arms a bit. Smirking at him.

"So, mind telling me why the devil has two little monsters?" In question, jokingly.

"Nah, of course I'm joking, I already know the answer."

Papercut had been his half brother. His father, Fell!Ink ( I call him Chalk for short, stupid, but simple to remember xD ) had another relationship with someone else (Fell!Error, or as I would like to call him Erin ) other than Fell!Dream.

"Nice to see you again, Cutter." Rurik quietly spoke, chuckling. "Been quite awhile, eh, Palette?" Papercut smirked wide at his nickname for Rurik, earning a glare from the other. "Don't call me that. I have a proper name, use it." Rurik demanded, raising his brow warningly to Papercut. "Like you have jurisdiction over me." He earned a reply, soon both of them stopped, intensely staring at each other. Then both laughed, earning Rurik to get slapped by Spade in the jaw with her little hand. Giggling at his reaction, but, her father seemed more strict than before. "Spade, You don't hit-" He stated, accidentally scaring her. Her bottom 'lip' quivered softly, and started to cry loudly, causing him to feel a little bad. Which was rare, even for him. Shadow had became protective of his twin, wanting to snuggle into her to make her feel better. Tugging on her onesie, hugging her. Of course, even he understood what being scared was. But, he wasn't entirely afraid of anything. All but one.
