It's been a couple days since the Seabed Temple incident. The Black Bulls were able to recover and head back to their base as if nothing ever happened. Although, the very obvious is known within their squad. Asta couldn't move his arms without feeling pain, and Y/n had already told them that he wasn't able to heal this, even with the amount of Healing Magic he has. Yami had Asta and Finral go with him to see a doctor and see if this could be cured, but Finral broke the news to everyone."I overheard the exchange between the two of them," Finral says, standing up, "Asta won't be able to use his arms, or do anything else required of a Magic Knight."
Y/n looks down to the ground, "Even Asta won't give up that easily. But the realization will soon get to him that he won't ever be the same."
"Oi, Y/n," Yami calls to him, "Don't you have Blood Magic in the Grimoire of yours? Why not manipulate his blood to rapidly heal him that way?"
"If I did have that spell, and that amount of control over Blood Magic, then I'd do it," Y/n counters, "But Remember what happened when I first started using Bone, Body, Blood Magic? I was going out of control. If it weren't for Vanessa and Noelle, I likely would've not recognized any of you and killed you all."
"Then you need to train harder with those magics," Yami ordered, "that way you won't lose control. For everyone else, don't let this news get to you. If anything, try and encourage the kid so he doesn't give up until we find a way."
Y/n nods and looks away, only to notice Vanessa looking conflicted. He moves over to her and sits down, causing her to look over to him.
"You seem conflicted," Y/n says to her, "Do you mind telling me what's on your mind?"
Vanessa sighs, "It's a possible chance to help Asta regain his use of his arms. The one thing that reminded me of it was Captain mentioning Blood Magic."
"There is someone in this world that can use it, you mean?"
She nods at his question, "Someone who I ran away from thanks to the Captain. I don't want to go back there, nor do I want to see our Squad suffer from how Asta is right now."
"Trust me," Y/n reassures her by wrapping an arm around her shoulders, "This isn't a decision that you have to make on your own. If this person can help Asta, then perhaps they can help me learn about Blood Magic."
Vanessa still looks conflicted between her choices, "But the thing is, men and outsiders aren't allowed in there. It's called the Forest of Witches."
"Sounds like a place that you're from," Y/n points out, "But my guess is that you have a really bad history with it."
"I do yes," Vanessa admits, "It's why I ran when the Captain showed up there by accident."
"If this is our only way to heal Asta," Y/n sighs before continuing, "Then we will have to go there."
"But you can't enter that forest, the Queen won't allow it!"
Y/n only smiles, "I will follow you there. I would follow everyone I truly care about to the ends of the earth, and to hell if I must."
Vanessa smiled with some slight tears forming, "Thanks Y/n, we'll go in the early morning."
"Alright, everyone else will likely be searching for a cure in their own way," Y/n says looking towards the others.
As the two of them rejoined the squad's entertainment, they left the thought of Asta's condition in the back of their heads.
Early morning had come quickly, for almost everyone was in their beds. Y/n and Vanessa were in her room making a plan, and snuck out of the base early. As they stepped outside, the cool morning breeze flew gently into their faces. They looked at each other with brooms in their hands, and flew off to the northeastern border of the Clover Kingdom.
