Athena was currently sat in the beavers home as she was coming to visit. When she had arrived, only Mrs Beaver was there so they sat talking and waiting for Mr Beaver to come home. Mrs Beaver believed he was out with badger again and Athena laughed at her complaining as she helped prepare some food. After a while they finally heard voices outside.

"It's about time." Mrs Beaver muttered and Athena chuckled. Athena stayed inside but her jaw dropped when she saw four humans walk in.

Which in Athena's eyes, couldn't be possible.

"Oh hello!" The youngest said cheerfully. "I'm Lucy. This is my sister Susan and my brothers, Peter and Edmund. What's your name?"

Athena quickly recovered from her shock when the other three waved at her slightly, Edmund didn't look too happy. "I'm Athena." She introduced herself.

"Are you human?" Lucy asked again. "I thought there were no humans in Narnia."

"I'm one of the only few." Athena said sadly. "Come and sit down. I'm sure you're all famished from the journey."

As they sat down, the three children explained what had happened to Mr Tumnus and why they had came. "Isn't there anything we can do to help Tumnus?" Peter, the oldest, asked them.

"They'll have taken him to the witches house. You know what they say, there's few that go through them gates and come out again." Mr Beaver told them. Mrs Beaver and Athena glared at him.

"Fish'n'chips?" Mrs Beaver asked nicely, trying to diffuse the tension. "But there's hope dear. Lots of hope." She looked at mr Beaver while saying it, trying to get him to help her.

Mr Beaver spat out his drink. "Oh, yeah! There's a right bit more than hope." He looked around before leaning in and whispering, "Aslan, is on the move."

Athena looked at the four children amusingly as she knew they wouldn't know who he was, considering they came from a different world. Peter, Susan and Lucy all went quiet.

"Who's Aslan?" Edmund blurted out.

Mr Beaver burst out laughing. "Who's Aslan? You cheeky little blighter." He laughed loudly. Both Beavers then realised the children were not joking. "You don't know, do you?"

"Well they haven't exactly been here very long." Athena said in their defence.

Mr Beaver looked around. "Well he's only the king of the whole wood. The top geezer. The rightful king of Narnia! And Athena here, the rightful Queen of Narnia!" Athena cringed and looked away.

"He's been away for a long while," Mrs Beaver explained.

"but he's just got back!" Mr Beaver added excitedly. "And he's waiting for you near the Stone Table!"

"He's waiting for us?" Lucy asked.

"You're joking! They don't even know about the prophecy!" Mr Beaver threw his hands up in the air in disbelief. "Look. Aslan's return, Tumnus' arrest, the secret police, it's all happening because of you!"

"You're blaming us?" Susan asked.

"No, of course not, we're thanking you." Mrs Beaver told them. The children still looked quite confused.

"There's a prophecy." Athena spoke up and all eyes turned to her. "When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil time will be over and done."

Susan tilted her head. "That doesn't really rhyme."

"You're kinda missing the point!" Mr Beaver continued.

Mrs Beaver placed her hand on his arm. "It has long been foretold that two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve will help Queen Athena defeat the White Witch and Queen Evanna and restore peace to Narnia."

Peter and Susan looked at each other. "And you think we're the ones?" Peter asked incredulously.

"Well you better be! 'Cause Aslan's already fitted out your army!"

"Our army!?" Lucy panicked.

Susan looked at Peter desperately. "Mum sent us away so we wouldn't get caught in a war," She reminded him.

"I think you've made a mistake," Peter told them. "We're not heroes!"

"We're from Finchley!" Susan exclaimed. The three Narnians looked to each other in confusion. "Thank you for your hospitality, but we really have to go."

Athena stood up with Susan. "Please, you can't leave. I need your help!"

"She's right. We have too help Mr Tumnus," Lucy pleaded.

"it's out of our hands." Peter said sternly. He met Athena's eyes. "I'm sorry, but it's time the four of us were getting home, Ed?" He looked behind to see his brother not there. Peter looked at Susan. "I'm gonna kill him."

"You may not have to," Mr Beaver told him darkly. "Has Edmund ever been to Narnia before?"

The five of them raced up the mountains as fast as they could, Athena being able to track Edmunds footprints in the snow quickly before they were covered. As soon as they got to the top of the hill, it seemed they were too late.

"Edmund!" Lucy yelled across the lake. Both Mr Beaver and Athena shushed her.

"Be quiet or they'll hear you." Athena scolded the girl. She then had to grab Peter's coat and pull him back as he ran forward. "No, stop!"

"Get off me!" He told her.

"You're playing into her hands," Mr Beaver said, coming to her defence.

"We can't just let him go!" Susan exclaimed. "He's our brother!"

"He's the bait!" Mr Beaver told them and everyone went quiet. "The witch's want all five of you!"

Pete furrowed his brows in confusion. "Why?" He asked.

"To kill us!" Athena finished. "They want to kill us and Edmund is the bait. To stop the prophecy from coming true."

A sombre atmosphere came over them all as the Peter and Susan looked at each other with wide eyes before they all turned and watched Edmund's shadow as he walked slowly through the gates of hell.

Susan scoffed. "This is all your fault." She blamed Peter. Athena rolled her eyes.

He laughed in disbelief. "My fault?"

"None of this would have happened if you had just listened to me in the first place!" Susan shouted at him.

"Oh, so you knew this would happen?" He retorted quickly.

"I didn't know what would happen," Susan replied defensively. "Which is why we should've left while we still could!"

"Stop it!" Both Lucy and Athena interrupted their arguing. Lucy carried on. "This isn't going to help Edmund."

"She's right," Athena agreed. "Only Aslan can help your brother now."

Peter looked her straight in the eye. "Then take us to him."

Athena prayed to the gods that she was right, because the Pevensie's weren't the only ones with a sibling to save.
