Open outside of the backyard as Mike and Vanessa are enjoying a cup of coffee as Mike seats down after pouring himself a cup
Mike: well beautiful wife beautiful night great cup of coffee at the end of the work day
Vanessa: nice
(Clinking their cups together)
Mike: couldn't be better
(As Mandy walks outside to the backyard looking for Mike)
Mandy: dad!
Mike: you never wanna get too happy they sense it then they just crush it
(Looking at Mandy) what
Mandy: I'm meeting Travis at the mall can I have some money for Java Jimmy's
Mike: coffee we got coffee right here
French press (handing Mandy his cup of coffee) here
(Mandy takes it then drinks it then spit it out and dumps it in to a plant)
Mandy: oh! God that's horrible
Vanessa: hey!
Mandy: no no
Mike: that was my coffee
Mandy: so can I have $20 or
(Mike gets up and pours himself another cup of coffee)
Mike: $20 for a cup of coffee
Mandy: I'm a huge tipper it's kind of my thing I I just feel so sorry for anybody that has to wear an apron
Vanessa: (looking at Mike) you ask me why I put rum in here this is why
Mike: if you want money maybe you should do what other people do
Mandy: get my own reality show dad
I'm trying
Mike: how about a part time job
Mandy: (laughs) job come on oh my God are we poor
Mike: you are (pointing to himself and Vanessa) we're doing very well
(Mandy then gives up and leaves the house)
Vanessa: you sure about this
Mike: she's sixteen
Mandy: I'm seventeen dad!
Mike: seventeen she should she should think about getting her a job
Vanessa: well it's just easier to give her money
Mike: well we just can't be lazy with our kids we're better than that

(From inside the house eve yells for Mike and Vanessa)
Eve: MOM! DAD!
Vanessa: go go go go go you get it you get it
(As Vanessa and Mike get the cups of coffee and run off before eve found them )
Mike: ow! Ow! Ow! (Holding the hot coffee cups )
Cut to the next morning as Jeff Megan were having breakfast with they're daughter and after Boyd finished his Kristen came over to get his plate
Kristen: aw that's my boy (kisses boyd)
As Mike and Vanessa walk into the kitchen
Vanessa: hey hey
