You read as Daykon (Kon is his human name). He's the estranged nephew of Bardock who was sent to Earth in the same pod as Goku. Daykon took a lot from Bardock so he sent Kon to protect his youngest son, who's only five years younger than him.
After they both got taken in by Grandpa Gohan, they started training a lot more. While Goku was a natural, Kon was far ahead of him. He excelled at every task and was the most skilled fighter on Earth.
Not after long they ran into Bulma. A 16 year old girl who's part of the richest family on the planet. When they met, Kon was 17 and Goku was 12. They embark on a huge adventure to find all seven of the Dragon Balls. But this isn't that story, this is the story that we see in Dragon Ball Z.
Goku is 24 years old. Kon is 29 years old. (He still remains the most powerful being on Earth as he keeps training with Master Roshi.) Bulma is 28 years old. Vegeta is 29 years old. Raditz is 29 years old. Gohan is 4 years old.
