The Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Kon, Goku, and Gohan were getting ready to enter the chamber, but an aircraft landed on The Lookout.

Bulma emerged with her son in her arms.

"Hey, guys! I brought some stuff for you!" Bulma said as Gohan and Kon were the first to walk up to her.
Baby Trunks held his hand out to Gohan who shook it in a playful manner before wanting to be held by his father, Kon.
"Hey there! I missed you so much!" Kon said as he held his son up who giggled.
Everyone else walked up to them and Bulma noticed Future Trunks.
"Oh my god! You've grown! Is this a wig?" She said as she pulled his hair that was now tied up in a ponytail.
"I was in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I spent a year in there but outside only a day had passed. Father -  Vegeta and I trained in there." Trunks said and Bulma looked over at Vegeta.
"Vegeta, you don't look that different. Why didn't your hair grow at all?" Bulma said.
"For your information, a pure blooded Saiyan's hair doesn't change from the day that he is born." Vegeta said.
"Ohhh... I guess that's why neither of you have needed a haircut." Bulma said to her boyfriend and Goku. Kon had already known this but Goku didn't.
"Wish there was something I could do about these split ends!" Goku joked.
"Try shampoo." Kon and Bulma said at the same time.
"I don't have time to listen to Kakarot's hair problems!" Vegeta growled.
"So, what are you doing here?" Kon asked his girlfriend as his son was asleep in his arms.
"I brought you all combat suits! I modeled them after Vegeta's since you guys are Saiyans and all." Bulma threw a capsule which revealed a huge cate filled with the white and blue suits. Goku, Kon, Gohan, and Trunks put them on. Piccolo and Tien refused.

Vegeta and Trunks eventually flew away and towards Cell.

Before entering, Goku, Kon and Gohan decided to eat. Kon and Goku ate ten bowls of food each while Gohan could only eat one.

As Mr. Popo was leading them to the door of the chamber, Kon saw Bulma with their son.

"Hey!" He said to his girlfriend.
"Hey, you. So you're really going through with this, huh?" Bulma said as she turned to Kon.
"Yup! It's the only way I can defeat Cell." Kon smiled.
"Alright, be safe, okay?" Bulma wrapped her free arm around Kon.
"Of course. See you in a year!" Kon said as he kissed his girlfriend.

Bulma had a sad smile as she watched Goku, Kon, and a nervous Gohan walk into the chamber.

The three Saiyans walked into the chamber, feeling the overwhelming pressure of the gravity. But they eventually got their bearings and felt less overwhelmed.

"I think we need to help Gohan become a Super Saiyan." Goku said.
"Really? A Super Saiyan, I don't know if I'll be able to.." Gohan said.
"Don't worry about that. For now, just watch and learn." Kon said as him and Goku turned Super Saiyan and began to spar one another.

They spent months and months sparring while Gohan just watched, trying to learn how to fight.

But outside of the chamber, they didn't have that much time. Vegeta and Trunks found all of the androids, including Cell. After some fighting, Vegeta decided to let Cell absorb Android 18 and become Perfect Cell, who proved to be too much for any of the Z-Fighters.

But back to the chamber.

Gohan got tired of watching and decided to join the spar between his father and uncle.

"Gohan?!" Kon said as Gohan landed a cheap shot.
"You guys have to let me fight! It's the only way for me to become a Super Saiyan!" Gohan yelled as he went to attack his father.
"It's not as easy as that, Gohan!" Goku said as he blocked all of Gohan's attacks.
"I want you both to give me all that you've got! It's the only way!" Gohan shouted so Kon and Goku both shot a Kamehameha at Gohan who caught it and struggled to push it away. Until he realized something.

Every time that they've needed him in battle, he came up short. He's felt loss just because his friends needed to protect him. And the more he thought of that, the more it infuriated him. So much so that as he struggled to push away the Kamehameha, he became a Super Saiyan himself.

He was able to push the Kamehameha away and it landed way off in the void.

Kon and Goku went back to their base forms as Gohan was gritting his teeth, trying to control the rage that he felt whilst in his new transformation.

"Gohan, you need to calm down. Don't let the rage overtake you." Kon said as Gohan eventually went back to base mode. He fell to his knees and sweat dripped onto the floor.
"Hey, how about we take a little break and I give you a haircut. If it get's any longer I'm gonna lose you under there." Goku said and they all laughed.

A few more days had passed.

"Alright, Gohan. Show us what you can do!" Goku said to his son as him and his older cousin were watching Gohan charge up to Super Saiyan. Gohan flew higher up as he began to train on his own, punching and kicking the air.

"He's really getting the hang of it." Kon said to Goku as they were sitting on the ground.
"That's my boy." Goku said with a proud smile.

They both chuckled as they closed their eyes, trying to figure out how to ascend to the next level until they figured it out.

"Gohan... watch us." Goku said as him and Kon stood up.

They both went Super Saiyan but raised their Ki even higher. They let out screams until they managed to bulk up to twice their size.

"You guys did it! You're more than Super Saiyans now! No one can beat you! Not even Cell!" Gohan said as he ran up to the pair.

"No! Even though these big muscles make us stronger, we're way slower than before." Kon said.
"Yeah, with this form we're just asking to be beat." Goku said.

They all went to plain Super Saiyan and began to spar more.

Outside of the chamber, again, Cell decided to host a tournament against all of the Z-Fighters. All of them against him. He even announced it on television. Cell  was building the ring while everyone else was at Capsule Corp, talking about it.

But next time you'll see everyone. It's going to be at the Cell Games.

a/n - i'm going to skip right to goku's (which is going to be kon) fight at the cell games, that's when it gets interesting.
