MARLEY'S POV AGAIN
School.
The most boring 7 hours of my life, except for my drama class.
It was the easiest class to pass and the best class of the day, mostly because of the people.
Only 5 students attended this class on a regular basis including myself.
Cassie, the outgoing one. Cassie is also a fashionista who has yet to wear an outfit that doesn't amaze. She is very radiant and very pretty. I wish I could have her kind of light hearted spirit and very humorous nature.
Aria, the crazy one. Now don't take crazy the wrong way, she was the good kind of crazy. The kind of crazy and weird that everyone loves. Her short redish brown hair was something everyone was jealous of because it fell so perfectly on the side of her face. Aria and Cassie were always the ones who ended up doing interpretive dances to every play we did. And when I say every play I mean EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Kat, the pretty one. I'm not saying she was prettier then the other girls but their was something about her that all the guys liked. She was the more popular one out of all of us, but she was surprising quiet in class.
And last but not least, Marie. Yes Marie. She was the most dramatic of the group but also one of the funniest people I've ever met. Marie takes drama very seriously but does fool around with the rest of us in class. She is great.
They all are.
Today we are practicing a play called The Cinderella Syndrome. I played Cinderella, Cassie and Aria played my sisters, Marie played my stepmother, and Kat played my fairy god mother.
"Cindy! Mama! Where is everybody?"
"See now she's at me!"
"Uhh line." Marie called out.
"You should know your lines guys gosh" Cassie said while running and jumping around the room like it was a jungle gym.
"Wow the sass today Cassie" Aria screamed.
"Can we get back to the scene please!" Marie persisted.
"Nah lets just skip it all. We can practice later today at my house!"
After school "practices" we're always at Cassie's house.
"PANERA FIRST" We all screamed in unison.
"Okay but we should really practice this time"
*Fast forward to after school at Cassie's house*
Only Aria and I ended up accompanying Cassie to Panera and after school "rehearsal"
Both Cassie and myself got broccoli and cheese soup from Panera, the best thing on the menu, and Aria got her first ever burrito from Chipotle, which she had me order for her.
I stared at Aria waiting to see the look on her face when she took her first bite of that savory burrito. When she did, her eyes seemed to pop out of her head from how amazingly good the giant thing was.
After our small food rave we ran across the topic of something I always tried to avoid... Boys
"So Marley, how's De-clan?" Aria asked laying herself across Cassie's bed.
"Well it's still not De-clan, it's Declan" She always seemed to pronounce his name wrong for some odd reason.
"He's good I guess. We had a moment the other day but it was no big deal. I mean- it's what he does to every girl. Pulls them in with his charm, gets really close to them, and tried to turn them on. I'm not saying it didn't work but I hate when he does it."
"Why do you hate it? It must be nice having someone like that." Cassie asked.
"I don't like it because I like him so much. I don't wanna be like all the other girl he talks to. I'm suppose to be his best friend but he flirts and tries things with me and I can't stand it. I'd love for it to be something real and something worthwhile between me and Declan but it's not, and it never will be."
And that was the end of the conversation. Aria and Cassie knew not to ask but they did. They always did. I loved them to death but I hated when they asked about him.
I hated when anyone asked about him.
But the conversation continued and we talked about more boys, more drama, more everything.
None of these conversation consisted of anything to do with our actual drama class. It was funny how one conversation could lead to another and we could go from talking about boys to doing our makeup and getting ready for a photo shoot which, if your wondering, we did have.
Cassie took to the longest to get ready for this shoot, of course. Aria and I pulled everything from Cassie's closet and put on the cutest things we could find.
When we were all finally ready it was time for the thing that took the longest, finding the right lighting.
In front of the window was where we decided it was best and began to take the selfies. Although many of them just made us look like total idiots, their were a few that accented our physical futures and made us look like Americas next top model, or something of that sort.
Following the photo shoot I decided it was time to head home. I sad goodbye to my friends and walked a few houses down to wear my humble home stood.
When I opened the door I saw someone who I thought I'd never see again... My father.
*I love Cassie and Aria they are my favs*
*Shits about to go down, Marley's dad better run*
