CASSIE'S POV
"Cassie it's already 2 am!" Aria said with pure excitement in her voice.
"Omg it is. Maybe we could pull an all nighter."
"Omg maybe. It's really hot in here Cass I'm gonna open up a window."
"Ok that's fine. But I like my room to be really dark so don't let any light in."
"Cass, it's 2 in the morning. I don't think any light will be getting in your room."
I totally knew that it was pitch dark outside, I just wanted to make sure that Aria knew that.
"Wait Cassie come here quick!"
I flopped over the bed and ran to the window.
"Who is that? Over there by De-clan's house?? Is that Marley?"
"I think it is. Why is she outside at 2 am??"
"I don't know maybe we should go check on her?"
"Good idea lets go."
Aria and I quickly sped out my bed room door, jackets in hand. Down the stairs and through the entrance to my home.
We raced down the street but not close enough for Marley to hear us. We tried to listen in on what she was saying to herself.
"Stupid fucking Declan... " Marley whispered to herself.
"I think she-"
"Shhhh I'm trying to listen."
"Omg 'shhh' rolls out from underneath a table"
"What?"
"From Gossip. When I basically yelled 'shhhh' and then rolled out from underneath the table."
I giggled at my own reference, which I thought was very funny.
"No time for Drama jokes Cassie. We need to figure out what's going on with Marley."
"Aww poo. Well this is an easier job anyway."
I quietly ran up behind Marley and put my arm around her.
"How are our spirits tonight?"
"What the fuck Cassie you just scared the shit out of me. Why are you even out here?" Marley asked sounding shocked and a little dazed.
"Well me and Aria, who is currently hiding behind that bush over there."
I pointed in the direction of a big bush that looked to me like a thorough breed horse.
Aria peeked out from behind the bush and waved awkwardly at Marley.
"And why are we here?? Well... Aria wanted to open a window in my room and when she did she just happened to see you out here. So we decided that we would follow you and try to cheer you up."
"Thank you but I would like to be left alone, if you don't mind."
"Oh we mind. We aren't going to leave our best friend out here in the cold all alone."
It was the truth. We wouldn't leave Marley by herself in a time of need.
"What happened anyway? Why are you out here?" Aria asked, obviously concerned with her well being.
"I kissed Declan...and then we got into a big fight and I don't know what I'm feeling right now."
"All I feel is hunger." I said looking off dramatically into the distance.
"This isn't a time for drama references Cassie this is serious."
"I'm sorry I'm just trying to lighten the mood."
"Well Marley I think it's about time that you and De-Clan got it in." She smirked and laughed at her own joke, just as I did.
"Neither of you are helping. I'm trying to figure out what to do and making jokes isn't going to help."
"I'm sorry" we said in perfect unison.
We could say things in unison now but not in our Babysitter... Gosh guys
"If you want an honest answer I think that he loves you and really cares about you, but your too focused on the friendship to see that." I said seriousness plagued all over my face.
"I don't know. I don't think he does. I mean, why would he? I've been his best friend for years and he has always treated me like he treats every other girl."
"Maybe he's just realizing how he feels."
"Maybe. I'm going to go talk to him. I didn't give him time to talk the first time and he deserves it."
"Thank you Cassie, you helped a lot, and so did you Aria." And with that she ran off. Back into Declan's home.
"Can we go get food??" Aria pleaded.
Putting my arm around her I said "Of course we can, when would I every object to food!"
