Leah's POV:
A few minutes later, we started to feel exhausted and a little woozy. "There's a bedroom, why don't we just rest for a little while?" Elvis yawned. "Priscilla could come kill us in our sleep," I said. "But I'm just so tired," Elvis flicked a tear from his eye. "Ugh, you're not gonna get all sloppy on me, are you?" I groaned. "I'm sorry," Elvis sighed. Elvis turned around and noticed a woman leaning against the wall on the other side of the hallway. "Hi, dad," the woman smiled. Elvis gasped and looked at me, a baffled expression on his face. I just shrugged and looked back at the woman. "L-Lisa? Honey, is that you!?" Elvis touched her hair, struggling to believe that she was really there right in front of him.
"I've missed you so much, dad," Lisa smiled. Elvis cried, hugging her. I couldn't believe Lisa Marie Presley was here! In that moment, it just seemed so hard to believe anything was real...heck, sometimes I still struggle to believe that Elvis is real. "Uhm..what are you doing here?" I asked. Lisa stopped hugging Elvis and looked at me, "Well, mom wants me to kill you guys and I told her I would," she sighed. "Oh no," Elvis groaned, crying even more now. "It's alright, dad," she chuckled, "Just because I said I would, doesn't mean I actually will!" "Really?" I smiled. Lisa smiled back, "Of course not! I'm gonna help you guys get out of here." "Oh! Thank you honey," Elvis gave her a kiss.
"Uh, Lisa? I have something to ask you," I cleared my throat. "Yes?" Lisa looked at me. "How did we get revived?" I asked. "Mom has some kind of weird device that gives the body an electric shock and brings 'em back to life," she replied. "Hm," I put a finger to my lip. "LISA!!" Priscilla growled. "Oh! Mom's looking for me! She mustn't know I'm here," Lisa gasped, darting off. "I didn't get rid of 'Cilla completely, her ghost is still here," Elvis said quietly as he watched Lisa run away.
~Meanwhile~
Lisa was in a dark, mysterious room that looked like a mad scientist's lab. "Mom? Are you there?" Lisa looked around. Priscilla's ghost appeared in front of her, "Where were you?" She growled. "I-I was looking for dad and his friend...so I could kill them," Lisa lied. "And how were you planning to do that without a weapon in your hand?" Priscilla grumbled. Lisa didn't respond for a moment, then she replied, "I thought I might be able to murder them with their own knives." "Tch~" Priscilla scoffed, "You disgrace me." "I know," Lisa bowed her head in shame. "You are going to promise me that you will find them and kill them," Priscilla ordered. "Y-yes ma'am," Lisa nodded.
~Back in the hallway~
Elvis started to head for the bedroom. "Elvis what are you doing?" I asked. "I wanna get some sleep," Elvis turned around to face me, "We'll be safe...Lisa won't let anything happen." "I don't know...she could become possessed like my sister did." "I-I..." Elvis tried to hold back his tears. "Oh come on," I sighed, "Why are you so depressed all the time?" "I just don't want anything to happen to Lisa," Elvis said in a shaky and sad tone. "You get some sleep," I smiled softly, "I'll make sure nothing happens." Elvis went in and lay down on the bed, cuddling the pillow. I sat down in a chair beside the bed. I was just as sleepy as Elvis was...but I tried not to let myself fall asleep...I had to protect Elvis, I just had to. He was so helpless and sad, the poor man. I started to worry about him as I watched him sleep. "What if he has some kind of traumatic nightmare?" I worried. I tried to keep calm by telling myself, "Well, tough! He'll just have to suck it up." Then I realized that sounded like my father...I can't let myself be that way with Elvis..he's fragile, I have to protect him and be gentle with him. I know there have been times where I yelled at him, treated him like he was stupid...but he doesn't deserve that. I yawned, starting to feel like I was about to fall asleep. "No, no," I moaned quietly, "I gotta stay awake, come on Leah, stay awake."
I slapped myself in the face a couple times, peeled my eyelids back with my fingers, but nothing seemed to work...I fell asleep. A little while later, I woke up outside of Graceland with Elvis. He sat on the ground, looking at his father's grave stone, "Daddy's dead," he said quietly, "H-he died after I died." "Elvis...w-we made it out!" I beamed, "We're standing outside of Graceland! Aren't you happy!?" Elvis sighed, "Somehow...it just doesn't feel real...perhaps it's all an illusion." "No, come on, I'll show you. We've made it out alive! Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and ran as fast as I could, the wind blowing through my hair, a big smile on my face.
"Keep dreaming," I heard Priscilla growl. "H-huh!?" I gasped. Suddenly, I tripped and fell, my head hit the concrete ground, the last thing I remember hearing was Elvis screaming, "I GIVE UP!! I GIVE UP!! THERE'S NO HOPE FOR US!!" I woke up, sitting in the chair in the bedroom, I looked over at Elvis. He was sitting straight up in bed, holding the covers close to his chest, breathing heavily, "D-did that really happen?" Somehow, I knew what he was talking about, he'd had the same nightmare I did...perhaps it was more than just a dream. "I thought we had escaped," I said sadly. "Oh Leah...your face," Elvis gasped. I put my hand to my cheek, it was bleeding from when I fell on the concrete. "It must've not been a dream then," I mumbled.
Lisa darted around the place, looking for us. She burst into the bedroom that we were in, holding a scythe in her hand. We gasped, looking at her weapon in horror. We thought that she might have become possessed and was here to kill us. She laid the scythe on the ground and put her hands up, "Calm down, calm down...I'm not here to kill, this weapon is just for show...so that mom will think I'm obeying her commands." "Thank you honey," Elvis smiled. "Alright let's get a move on, I wanna escape with you guys." "How are you gonna do that?" I asked, "Priscilla will be expecting you to help her." "Don't worry about that," Lisa smiled. She opened the door and we walked out. "Look! There's a portal in the wall," I pointed. "That wasn't there before," Elvis said. "Well let's go in," Lisa said eagerly. She stepped inside, taking Elvis by the hand and going in with him. "Hey wait for me," I chuckled.
Inside the portal, there was a field, an open empty field. The sky was a dark grey, with big fluffy storm clouds. The wind blew, mild at first, and getting stronger by the minute. "Where are we?" Elvis asked, looking around. "We're out in the middle of nowhere!" I yelled, my voice echoed. I gasped, hearing the crash of thunder. "Please tell me it's not going to storm," I groaned. "It's not going to storm," Elvis said. The rain suddenly started pouring down heavily. "You idiot!" I yelled. "I thought you wanted me to say it wasn't going to storm!" Elvis yelled back. "Come on guys, don't fight!" Lisa cried. "We didn't have to go into this portal! It's all your fault Lisa for making us go in!" I screamed. "You leave my daughter out of this!" Elvis growled. "She's 54 years old! She can take it..unlike you because you're so whiny...YOU BIG WIMP!!" I slapped him across the face. He looked at me with a shocked, heartbroken expression, tears building up in his eyes. He looked at Lisa then back at me. He turned around and ran off as fast as he could.
"Dad! Wait don't go!" Lisa called. She glared at me, "See what you've done!?" "Forgive me, miss high and mighty daughter of the king," I bowed mockingly. "Do you even have a heart!?" She hissed, "You just hit him and called him a wimp! He's probably off crying somewhere because of you!" "He cries too much anyway! He'll just have to learn to tough it out," I scowled. "What's wrong with you? W-why are you being so mean all of a sudden?" She asked. "Look, if you're so worried about him then why don't you just chase after him? Why are you wasting your time with me?" I snapped. She gave me one last dirty look and darted off into the direction Elvis went. I stood there, all alone in the pouring rain, my bangs getting so heavy and wet that they covered my eyes. Thunder roared all around me, as I thought about what I had done. "I told myself I wasn't going to be like this," I mumbled, clearing my hair out of my face, "That was just like my father...how could I have been so heartless like that? I-I mustn't be abusive toward Elvis...what's happening to me? I'm scaring myself."
