Leah's POV:

I wiped some sweat from m forehead, I sniffled, "Elvis...please just try to stay alive...for me...I know you can do it, you're strong." "I-I'm trying, I'm trying," he moaned. The doors opened, I picked him up and carried him into the lab. I laid him down on an operating table. I opened the medicine cabinet, "Wow," I whispered, "That's a lot of stuff." I looked for some medicine to help with the infection, "Here it is!" I pulled out a bottle with a pink label, "Here, drink this," I opened it and handed it to him. He took a sip and gagged, "Bleh! This stuff tastes like rotten eggs and prune juice!" "I know it doesn't taste good, but you gotta drink it, it'll help you," I said.

He chugged it down as much as he could. He gagged with every sip he took, but he managed to drink every last drop. "Good boy," I smiled softly, "Okay here's some pain killers and some water." "Thank you," he said weakly. The pills helped with the pain a lot and the yucky medicine helped bring the swelling and the infection down.

I took some water and some anti-bacterial soap to clean his wounds, I then wrapped a bandage around his arm and neck. The colour started to come back to his face, he started to breathe normally again, but still a little shaky. "Are you alright?" I asked. "Yes," he nodded quietly. I sighed in relief, "Oh, that's good...I was so worried." "Thank you for taking care of me," Elvis smiled. "It's the least I can do," I smiled back.

He sat up weakly, I helped him up off the table. I put his arm across my shoulders, "Just lean on me until you get your strength back." Elvis nodded and we walked out, I closed the door behind us. We went back into the elevator, I pushed the button and we went up. I looked at Elvis and stroked his hair, "I knew you would make it." "What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger," Elvis said, "I think now we can face just about anything as long as we're together, you and I." He smiled and kissed me, I blushed, "I love you." "Love you too," he ruffled my hair.

A few minutes later, the doors opened, another portal. "I wonder where this one takes us," I put a finger to my lip. "Let's find out," Elvis said as he climbed inside, I followed him.

I opened my eyes and looked around, "Wow." We were in a beautiful garden at night, the dimly lit moon shone down with its eerie yet calming light. "What a lovely looking place," Elvis gasped. "Don't get your hopes up," I sighed, "This could be another trap." "Nothing can take us down," Elvis said, "There's nothing we can't outrun...we can survive anything." I was amazed at how brave Elvis was being, I couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth, he was almost a different person in that moment, but no matter how brave or tough he was I still felt like I had to watch over him and keep him safe, shelter him from all harm.

I could hear a rustling sound in the bushes, I froze, "Wait...listen." Elvis looked around, listening to the noise, "Something's there," he whispered. An animatronic jumped out from the bushes, it had glowing white eyes, it was about eight feet tall, it had loose wires and its eyeballs dangled from its sockets. Its voice was glitchy, it said something incoherent. We took one look at it and screamed, running as fast as we could. It chased after us with its arms out, "I want FLESH!!" It screeched with its robotic voice. "AAAAAAAAAHH!!" We kept running.

It was fast, it caught up to us and grabbed Elvis. "NO!! PUT ME DOWN!!" Elvis screamed and kicked, "LEAH HELP ME!!" I took out my knife and slashed its wires, it looked at me and shrieked in my face. "WHAT!? WHY DIDN'T IT WORK!?" I cried. I noticed it had a red button on its back, I pushed the button, and the animatronic exploded. "WOAH!! AAAAAAAAH!!" Elvis went flying from the huge blow. I threw my arms up, Elvis landed in my arms, "OOF!!" I chuckled, "I caught ya!" "Good catch," Elvis giggled.

I put him down, and we walked a little further, "Do you see a portal anywhere?" I asked. "Nope, nothing," Elvis shrugged. "There's a cabin," I pointed off in the distance. Elvis's face lit up and ran to the cabin. "Hey! Wait up!" I laughed, chasing him. He ran up the porch and knocked at the door, there was no answer. "Maybe there's no one home," I said. "Maybe," Elvis shrugged, opening the door.

"Hello? Anybody home?" He called, slowly walking in, the floor creaked under our feet. I closed the door behind us and we sat down at the table. Suddenly the door creaked as it opened, and a man walked in holding a rifle. Elvis gasped and stood up, ready to make a run for it. The man set the gun down and looked at us, "Oh hello...boy, you guys look like you've just seen a ghost!" He laughed.

"W-who are you?" I asked. "My name's Hans," he said, "And you are?" "I'm Leah and this is Elvis," I replied. "H-hi," Elvis said, nervously sitting back down at the table. Hans was much taller than Elvis and buffer too, he had shaggy black hair and long sideburns, he wore a red flannel shirt and tight black pants. He sat down at the table with us, "So...where did you pretty little things come from?" "It's complicated," I replied. Elvis's eyes narrowed at Hans, he didn't trust him for some odd reason, but I thought Hans was nice.

"Well, you guys look hungry, why don't you go sit in the living room while I fix us something to eat? I just shot a deer," Hans smiled. "Okay, come on Elvis," I took his hand and went into the living room with him. Elvis sighed and flopped down on the couch, I sat down in a chair next to him. "I don't like that guy," Elvis said quietly. "Why on Earth not?" I asked. "He just seems...off," Elvis shrugged, "I don't know...something just isn't right."

"Don't be so uptight," I said, "He's nice." "Yeah, too nice," Elvis filed his nails with his knife. "Whatever, you just need to cool it," I rolled my eyes. About fifteen minutes later, Hans walked in, "Soup's on!" "About time," I smiled, going into the kitchen and sitting down at the table. Hans pulled out the chair for me, "Why thank you," I giggled, sitting down.

Elvis sat on my left side and Hans sat at my right side. Hans put his arm around me, "Ain't you just the prettiest girl I've ever seen," he grinned. I blushed and looked at Elvis, he clenched his fists and glared at Hans in anger, he then put both his arms around me and gave me a big kiss. "Well, let's eat before it gets cold," I laughed nervously, "The meal looks great, Hans." "Anything for you darling," Hans chuckled, he looked over at Elvis with a cheeky grin. Elvis huffed, trying to keep calm, he grabbed the piece of deer meat on his plate with his bare hands and stuffed it in his mouth, giving Hans the dead stare the entire time.

After we finished eating, we all went into the living room. I sat down in the middle of the couch, the two guys sat on each side of me. Elvis sighed, "Uhh...Hans, which way is the bathroom?" "Down the hall and to the left," he replied. Elvis got up, he took one last look at me and went down the hall. "We're alone now, Leah," Hans grinned. "Hans, just stop it, I don't wanna hurt Elvis," I sighed.

"You can't resist me," Hans said, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me passionately. "MMPH! STOP!" I yelled. A couple moments later, Elvis came out and went into the living room. He gasped, seeing Hans kissing me, "Leah!? W-what the heck are you doing!?" I quickly pushed Hans away, "Elvis...I can explain!" Elvis ran away crying, he ran outside and slammed the door. "Good grief," I groaned, "Hans, stay here, let me go talk to him."

I went outside and calmly shut the door behind me. I came up behind Elvis and gently put my arms around him. He pushed me away and took a step forward. "Hey, c'mon, I'm sorry," I said. He turned his head and glared at me, tears running down his cheeks, "Just go back to him, you obviously like him better anyway." "Oh would you just grow up!?" I yelled, "Just stop crying for once! Why do you always do this? You're always the victim, aren't you!? Sure, you're the perfect angel, you're the fragile one who always gets hurt! I'm sick and tired of it, just grow up!" I stormed back inside and slammed the door.

Elvis's POV:

"Leah, wait," I said, wiping my eyes. I sighed, "What do I do now? I can't go on without her." A portal appeared in the ground, "Maybe I can go on without her...but I don't want to leave her...I guess I need to move on, she's been taken from me." I stepped into the portal, I woke up back at Graceland in my bedroom, "Huh!? I'm back in my bedroom!? I'm back where I started!" I started to cry uncontrollably, "Oh Leah, I'm so sorry, I was wrong, please come back to me..."
