Elvis's POV:
My motivation to escape this hell hole had been drained, I felt more depressed than I ever was before, "I'm not...strong enough," I sighed, "I can't do it on my own, I know I can't, if I try I'll only make things worse...I'm back where I started now, I'm not going through this again." I laid down on my bed and sobbed into the pillow. How could I have been so blind? Leah would never do anything to hurt me this way, I should've known better, I should've listened to her. After a while, I wore myself out from all the crying and fell into a deep sleep.
Leah's POV:
I went into the living room and sat down in the chair. Hans looked at me, "Say, where's pretty boy?" "He's not coming in," I said quietly, looking down and not making eye contact. "Well, we can just forget him," Hans grinned. I looked up and sighed, "No, Hans...I can't forget him...what am I doing? I was so mean to him, I gotta go get him back," I quickly got up and headed for the door. Hans stopped me, he wrapped his arms around my waist, "Don't leave...you like me, don't you? Don't try to deny it...I can see it in your eyes." "Back off, you clod, I've got a knife and I'm not afraid to slice your throat," I hissed.
"Just stay a little while...just for the night...it'll be cozy," he giggled. "Stop it, I only love Elvis...I'm not gonna cheat on him with a cheap man like you," I growled. Hans sighed and let go of me, "What do you see in him anyway? He's just a weak little tramp!" "I'm not gonna let you talk about him this way!" I yelled. "Well, what are you gonna do about it?" He chuckled. I held my knife to his throat. He scoffed, "Do it, I dare you...heh, I bet you won't." My hands shook, I started to sweat, I held onto the knife tighter. "I double dog dare you," he laughed. "You're acting like a child," I growled.
"Well, I can act like a man if you prefer," I grabbed he and picked me up. "STOP! PUT ME DOWN!" I screamed. "Elvis is outside, isn't he? If he really loves you, he'll come through for you," Hans laughed. "AAAAAAAAAH!!" I screamed as loud as I could, thinking that Elvis was still outside and he could hear me. "Well...maybe he just decided to ditch you...we're all alone now," Hans giggled. "EERAAAH!!" I kicked him in the stomach. "AAAHH!!" Hans fell back and hit his head against the table. I quickly rushed to the door. Hans took his rifle down from the wall, "Hold it right there," he barked, "You try to leave and I'll shoot you."
I stopped and looked at him, an idea popped into my head, "Alright, alright...I'll stay." "You will?" He smiled. "Yes," I sighed. "Good," he grinned, picking me up again, he carried me to the bedroom. I slowly took my knife out and sliced him in the throat. He dropped me and the floor and coughed up blood, "ACK!!!" He fell over, he kept coughing, he finally choked on his blood and died. "Sorry, Hans baby, but I had no choice," I grinned, "Okay I gotta go find Elvis."
I darted outside, "Elvis? Elvis where are you? I'm sorry!" I looked around, "Oh my gosh...he must've gotten killed! I shouldn't have left him alone out here! What have I done?" I buried my face in my hands and cried. I looked up and in my teary vision I saw the portal standing in front of me, "I guess it's now or never," I sighed, stepping inside the portal.
I woke up back at Graceland in a bright room, the brightest light I had seen in so long. I winced, putting my hands in front of my face to shield my eyes from the burning light. "Elvis?" I whispered. My eyes started to adjust and I could see things. The room looked like a doctor's office, Elvis was lying in a little bed, fast asleep, with needles in his arms. The needles were hooked to these plastic bags on the sides of the bed, the needles were taking away his blood!
Elvis's POV:
"Elvis, Elvis! Wake up!" Leah cried. I moaned, waking up, "Leah? W-what are you doing here? Where am I? Are we dead?" "No, but you're gonna die if we don't take these needles out of your body!" She exclaimed. "Huh? What needles?" I asked. Leah quickly removed the needles. "Ow!! Oh Leah you're hurting me," I grunted. "I'm sorry Elvis, I'm trying to save your life here! These needles are extracting your blood," she said. "So that's why I feel so lightheaded," I moaned.
"You've lost a lot of blood," Leah said. "I-I can't believe you came back for me...y-you're not upset with me anymore?" I asked. "Of course not," she smiled softly. "Leah I-I'm so sorry...I-I-I m-messed everything up...I'm ashamed of the way I've acted," I clung to her, crying. "There's nothing to be sorry for...it's all over now...I still love you, don't cry," she gently rocked me and stroked my hair. "I'm sorry for leaving...I thought I had lost you..I can't be without you," I whimpered. Leah sighed, "You're just too sweet."
She smiled and wiped my eyes, "Come on now, let's get out of here." I nodded and got up, holding Leah's hand. She opened the door and we walked out. "Which way are we even supposed to go?" Leah asked. "I don't know...let's just keep going until we find a portal or a door or something," I said.
"Like that one?" Leah laughed, pointing to a tiny door in the corner. "Only a mouse could fit in there," I giggled. Leah gave the door a little kick, it suddenly stretched out big and tall and opened up. "Whoa!" I gasped. We stepped inside, the door slammed shut behind us and it shrunk back down to its original size. Leah gazed at a tall shelf, there were old antique dolls stacked on it. "That's kinda creepy," I mumbled. Leah grabbed a doll wearing a black pleated dress, "I used to have one just like this when I was a kid," she sighed.
"Be careful Leah, this could be a trap," I said. "I'm careful," she nodded. "Hello again," the doll said in Priscilla's voice. "AAAAH!!" Leah dropped the doll and jumped back, the doll shattered when it hit the ground. Priscilla's ghost rose up from the shattered bits of porcelain. She wrapped her hands around Leah's throat, "You're coming with me," she growled. "Priscilla! Stop!" I cried. Suddenly, the atmosphere went wonky and everything went black.
I woke up in the lab, Leah was tied down to a table, the blade of the guillotine hung over her head. "Leah! Darling, let me help you." "She can't hear you," Priscilla said, "She's in a coma...she'll never see this coming." "No! Please don't kill her! Please!" I sobbed. "Cry all you want, little baby, it only makes this funner!" Priscilla laughed. I tried to untie Leah from the table, but Priscilla slammed me against the wall, she electrocuted me with a taser and I became paralyzed.
"Now watch this," Priscilla grinned and pulled a lever on the guillotine, the blade came down, I looked away and sobbed, thinking Leah had been killed but it just barely touched her, some kind of invisible force was keeping the blade from coming down all the way. "What the heck?" Priscilla gasped. A ghost, who looked like a teenage boy, appeared and untied Leah from the table. "Collin! How many times have I had to tell you you're not allowed in my lab!" Priscilla growled.
Collin bowed his head, "Forgive me, queen of demise, but I just couldn't let you kill this woman, just look at that poor guy crying in the corner." Collin had a skinny body, short black curly hair that parted down the middle and nearly covered his eyes, his eyes were big and a greyish blue colour with dark circles under them, he wore a plain black outfit and black shoes. "Collin, you're pathetic," Priscilla smacked him in the face.
"Are you gonna force a snake down my throat like you did last time?" Collin asked. Priscilla scoffed as she disappeared to who knows where. Collin lifted Leah off the table and set her on the floor, he looked at me, "Hello," he said quietly. "Uhm..hi," I wiped my eyes. Collin went over to me and helped me up, the feeling started to come back into my legs, "Thanks for saving Leah," I smiled. "It's no problem...I hate to see people suffer as much as I have," Collin replied. Suddenly, Leah started to wake up, "Mmm...huh? Whoa, what happened? Where am I?"
"Oh Leah! My darling!" I cried, rushing over to her and practically throwing myself on top of her, giving her a big hug. "Ugh! Get off, man! You're smashing me," Leah shouted. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I blushed, getting up, "I'm just so happy you're alive!" "What are you talking about? ...And who's that kid?" She asked.
